New owners have no idea about customer relations nor administration. The owner had a beef about CMCA trying to push them into an agreement to provide loe fees for just a park without using any facilities. This van park is listed on the CMCA official site as providing low cost, minimal facilities for $10 a night. ||Perhaps this was an agreement with the former owners who receive high praise for their management skills in gormer times. The new owners want no part of it, so greet you with obtuse questions about what you were quoted as a price by an unknown 'they' without explanation. Before I left to take up my site I was accused of stealing the owner's Biro. Seriously. There was sense of fun about the statement.||Both times I booked in I was expected to find the way myself to my allotted unpowered site. ||That happened today on my second stay which I had booked prior to leaving 5 days previously.||When I arrived at my site there was a vehicle parked on the site next to a van. The young people argued they had been given permission to leave their vehicle on my site and expected me to just pop onto another empty site. There was aggressive talk from them about my accommodating them . It's obvious they are unseasoned campers as one does not just jump into any other site that might be booked and not claimed at that point in time. ||The owner failed to give me the heads up on the agreement with the youngsters, so must own part of the responsibility for the conflict that then arose . ||In the end I was ordered to leave the van park, with a grudgingly offered refund and advise to stay in another town 40 ks away. Again , more rudeness from the owners.||A very shabby experience which has left me shaken about the unjustified tack taken by management. ||Needless to say it gets only brick bats from me. A shattering experience.||Who certifies these van parks and allows them to operate. Do they know ...

Stayed in one of the must be almost new cabins - very clean and the beds where super comfortable - park at your front door
Robyn and Dannielle where super friendly and nothing was any trouble for them
Very large shady park - apparently you can see rabbits here but we unfortunately didn’t
Across the road is the river - a short 2 minute drive uptown there are a couple of old fashioned pubs that have a charm all of their own and well priced beer
If you don’t want to be bombarded with a thousand rules as soon as you enter a caravan park this place is the right one
Easy going and relaxed - there’s also a very inviting camp kitchen here and a wood hut for the winter fire pit gatherings- awesome!!
And then there’s the Historic Village - WOW !!
Roll back your clocks 30-50-100years and enjoy a few days or a weekend turned back in time
We will definitely be back soon
And thanks Again Robyn and Dannielle for your hospitality
