OCEAN DREAMS CRUISE 14 days Kununurra to Broome I would highly recommend this wonderful tour. We had an amazing time, saw so many unbelievably awesome sights and were royally pampered by a young, enthusiastic & friendly staff. And all the mod cons are available while you cruise the Kimberley wilderness. They made sure my husband, who has a physical disability could participate in almost all the activities on shore. Captain Cat seemed to design each days activities to suit the interests of everyone in our group of 12. Whether it be scenic cruises, rock art, fishing, swimming in water holes, finding wild life & birds. There was an alternate activity for those not as energetic as others, or you could relax on board. She was informative, helpful & approachable with the many questions we had. The wheel house was often open for those interested in the navigation side of things. The views were amazing too. Our evening meetings discussing the days events & tomorrow's plans were full of interesting details, side stories & comedy. Thanks for making this holiday a once in a million. Chef Tom produced restaurant quality food for every meal, catering to my special needs & others with dietary requirements outside his planned menu. His meals were served with an explanation of each dish & his cooking was often accompanied by joyful singing. Thanks for the individual care & attention. I'm sure the 2 birthday girls loved their special meals too. To Emma & Lilly, the stewardesses, a huge thanks for all your hard work. They quietly & efficiently went about cleaning, doing our laundry, dressing the tables, waiting on our every need or wish, serving us all like royalty. Taking their turns escorting tours. Photos were taken at every opportunity so nothing could be forgotten. Special thanks to Lilly for her assistance on the Mitchell Plateau. Nash & Rob, the deckhands, were skilled boat hands, keeping us all safe in the tenders. Nothing was too hard for them. They would slow down so photos could be taken, steer into small bays to get better views, help us all in & out safely. Identify the local birds, fish & animals. So much care was taken with those less able to lift legs into tenders. Nash had his drone up for aerial shots and he was responsible for hand writing our stops onto maps for our mementos. Much thanks to Rob who assisted us when my husband slipped in a water hole. No injuries but the help to stand up was needed and given in a caring manner. We had such a wonderful time, met 10 new friends & made memories to last a life time. If you are thinking of sailing in the Kimberleys a small tour company like Ocean Dreams can make your dreams come true. You share your experience with an intimate group. No lining up to see things. No photo bombing by strangers. You are treated like a special friend. You won't get this treatment anywhere else. Kathie...
Read moreIt's hard to know where to start! Wes and I had the most wonderful experience on board the 13 night Kimberley Cruise Wyndham to Broome! The scenery we viewed was way beyond our imagination and the little hidden gems we were taken to were amazing. Due to our age and physical limitations there were a couple of side trips that we chose not to do, but we were not left on the boat while the other passengers enjoyed their choices. We were taken to amazing other locations that were suited to our abilities. We were considered at every turn and for that we are extremely grateful. Now to the Captain and her crew, yes we had a very hard working female Captain Cath, she worked so hard alongside her crew and was on top of everything everyday. Her personal care of every passenger could not be bettered. Well done Cath you were amazing and went way beyond all we could have ever expected of any captain. Ocean Dream you are very blessed to have such a leader on board. Next we go to Chef Tom, what can I say, the food you presented and the care of individual dietary needs were exceptional. Your great sense of humour and singing in the galley made you so easy to get along with! It was such a joy to walk past the galley and see you hard at work preparing our next mouthwatering food. Every morning there was freshly baked bread of various kinds. Well done Tom, we so enjoyed you and your culinary skills. Then there was the 2 angels, Emma and Lilly, nothing was too much for them as they were our hostesses. Each day they cared for us during meal times, washed and dried our clothes, made our beds, turned down our beds and left little Lindt surprises on the bed, my favourite! Emma and Lilly also came on the tenders with us and helped wherever needed. Two of the loveliest people and very hard working and caring. Thank you girls! Then last, but certainly not the least was Rob (Roger Federer look alike) and Nash. Engineer and amazing fishermen and drone expert and helpers wherever needed, they worked very hard taking care of the tenders and each one of the passengers and the maintenance of Ocean Dream. Thanks guys so much Everything was constantly clean and cared for throughout the boat by this amazing Captain and crew. There are not enough words to express how our experience has benefitted us. The other 10 passengers were lovely people who have become our friends. There was a real caring friendly atmosphere the whole journey. 100% recommendation from us! Thank you Kym (Perth Office) for your encouragement during our decision making process, you were very gracious and understanding. Merylin...
Read moreOur 6-night fishing and adventure tour, on board Ocean Dream was nothing short of extraordinary, a true once in a lifetime experience, that exceeded every expectation and left me wanting for more. From the moment we stepped aboard, we were treated to a perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and world-class hospitality. Our journey through the Montebello Islands was breathtaking, Ive been here a couple times before but nothing like this. We spent our days spearfishing for coral trout, tusk fish, and cod in waters surrounded by turtles, macro ecosystems, and the rugged island beauty. Each dive was an exciting exploration with different discoveries to be made. Barrow Island was just as incredible. Between trawling and spearfishing, we landed some amazing catches — coral trout, blue bone, tusk fish, and more. The west side’s Flacourt Bay was a highlight, with its turquoise lagoon and countless turtles gliding beneath us and filling the shallow waters and beaches. We ended the day anchored in the calm southern waters, watching one of the most memorable sunsets of the trip. The Ocean Dreams crew truly made the trip another experience in itself, Captain Stiffy was the definition of experience and calm — steering us smoothly through every leg of the journey and taking us to the most incredible spots. Tom the chef, was a revelation. every meal was a masterpiece, blending gourmet quality with hearty adventure fare, all served with his signature humour and entertaining flair. Emma and Sylvia were absolute stars, anticipating our every need before we even knew what we wanted, warm, professional, and endlessly attentive, with their attention to detail and making the small things really matter. Nashie and Ben made sure we were on the fish every single day, their knowledge, energy, and passion for what they do was infectious. The entire crew really felt like they were apart of the family by the end of the trip, full of stories, laughter, and good company. The Ocean Dreams experience is luxury and adventure perfectly combined. If you’re looking for the ultimate Adventure, be it fishing, island or luxury escape, look no further. This isn’t just a trip — it’s a foodie experience and adventure like no other, that stays with you long after you step off the deck. Thanks to the entire team for a smooth execution of a deer friends desire for a luxury...
