Home of the West Australian Newspaper and Sunday Times. And also has Channel 7 here. Can drop Timespool off in the building foyer. Nice Atrium in The Entrance. Ample free parking at The Entrance. Good access for physically impaired people. Can discuss your distribution and other newspaper related items at the counter with a person.

I have only given 1 star because zero stars are not available. The misinformation/disinformation this paper writes is concerning, to say the least. I have also rung their office around 20 times this morning to try and speak to someone regarding my concern, and not one person has answered the phone.

I am currently trying to get a really important Letter to the Editor published. I've sent it in 5 times, and still, they refuse to print it because they are protecting Roger Cook and his Government, as we are only weeks out from the election.

My letter to the editor is not 'opinion' like 99% of the letters they publish; it is a fact, and every West Australian deserves to know the truth regardless of what side of politics they support.

I am now off to Office Works to get a 1,000 copies of my letter printed so I can do a letter drop and tell people that the West Australian Newspaper refused to print my letter.

My letter is below:

I am at a loss to understand how the good people of Western Australia can continue to support the Cook Government. Roger Cook was a failed Health Minister; he is a failed Premier, and we continue to have a failing health system.

My family and I witnessed it first-hand from the moment my brother was diagnosed in December 2018. We saw the ambulance ramping and the bed shortages, both of which continue as I write this letter. All while this Premier and his Government throw money around like drunken sailors to ‘buy’ votes.

On the 12th of January 2021, I received a despairing phone call from my brother, who was dying of mesothelioma, asking if I could come to Sir Charles Gardner Hospital (SCGH) and have him discharged as he had been advised by a nurse that they were moving him into the ‘corridor’ to allow for a new admission on the 7th Floor. He was inconsolable. This is all while Western Australia and SCGH had no COVID-19.

I was advised that “SCGH utilises a bed escalation plan that allows patients to be cared for in over-census spaces when the Emergency Department (ED) exceeds capacity. The most clinically appropriate patient is moved to an over-consensus area”.

So, a man, a beautiful human being who is dying, is considered the ‘most clinically appropriate by SCGH.’

Six years on, and we still have a failing health system. What has this Government been doing?

Regardless of what side of politics you support, this should concern every...

Minimal free parking within the front car park, but has a dedicated 3 bay loading zone, 2 ACROD bays and even a dedicated electric car bay. The tricky part is that sometimes the ACROD, Loading and Electric bays are taken up by the wrong users because they are free. There is lots of convenient street parking over the road. I think the maximum is $5...
