The Inbetween Cafe is an absolute lifesaver and a fantastic spot, especially if you're navigating a big shopping trip! It's clearly popular with families, offering that perfect pit stop where a promised treat can be a great motivator for little ones (and maybe even some adults!).
Nestled amongst a great selection of homewares, furniture, and household goods stores, itâs perfectly positioned for a break. I particularly loved their blankets draped over the chairs â a cosy touch!
The food and treats selection is excellent. We tried both the tuna melt and the ham and cheese toastie. The tuna melt was absolutely delicious, my personal highlight. My mate thought his ham and cheese toastie could have used a bit more filling, but that really just comes down to his personal preference for a super-stuffed toastie.
Beyond the food, the coffee is excellent, and I even found myself admiring the coffee cups â a small detail that adds to the overall charm. All round, it's a truly great place with patient, friendly staff and surprisingly fast service, making it an ideal refuelling stop....
Read moreDuring my visit to the cafĂ©, I encountered a male workerâthough Iâm not sure if he was the ownerâwho was not very welcoming. When I entered, I smiled and greeted him with a âgood morning,â but instead of returning the smile or even replying, he rudely said, âwait a minute.â
I turned away as my husband needed help with our baby. After a short while, I returned to the cafĂ© when it was quieter. To my surprise, the same worker looked at me and said, âI thought you guys wouldnât come back,â with an unfriendly expression, as he didn't want to serve us.
Unfortunately, there are limited café options in that area near my kids' swimming lessons. This is disappointing, as we expect a basic level of courtesy and professionalism from...
Read moreVisited this cafĂ© today as it was conveniently located near my childâs swimming lessons. While we were enjoying food and drinks purchased from the cafĂ©, we were met with extremely rude behaviour from the owner, Sam, and her co-worker.
They were clearly upset that our children had left some crumbs and mess on the table â again, from cookies bought at their establishment. We apologised and cleaned up ourselves, but their attitude remained cold, unwelcoming, and downright unprofessional.
I understand that nobody enjoys cleaning up after a mess, but isnât it standard procedure for staff to wipe down tables after customers leave? Instead of a polite request or understanding, we received ongoing smart remarks and were made to feel very uncomfortable.
This café is definitely not child- or family-friendly. Poor service, rude staff, and an unwelcoming atmosphere. Not worth the money or the hassle. Will not...
