Kingsdene Takeaway — Local services in Sydney

Pretty busy for a local joint, with good service as you'd expect from a small local business. Ordered the chicken burger and fish and chips. Chicken burger had a juicy piece of chicken fillet and the flavours were good. The fish was thick however the batter wasn't fried through and was totally soggy on one side. Definitely wasn't due to the travel home (8min drive away) as when I pulled the batter back you could see uncooked batter which made the fish not very appetising at all. My husband and I grabbed a late lunch at Kingsdene Takeaway today. I had the fish and chips and he got a burger. I must say, the fish and chips were outstanding! Everything was cooked to order and with very fresh ingredients. They were professional and friendly, had a large drink selection and our food was out quick. We decided to sit outside at their seating area while we enjoyed our lunch. I couldn’t recommend Kingsdene Takeaway enough for a quick bite to eat or even a pleasant sit down lunch...

This place is right down the road from where my grandparents used to live so it's no exaggeration when I say I've been eating here for over 25 years.

Not once have I ever been even mildly disappointed by the food or the service. Every time I have a burger from here it instantly transports me to simpler times. It's just good quality ingredients made by lovely people.

I'll continue supporting this business for as long as it stays open and highly recommend it to anyone who fancies a good old...
