This local IGA is a wonderful example of service to the local community in which it is

Andrew, Mitchell & all the staff really go the extra mile for the locals and regulars. Whether its a smile & a quick chat as you are just buy the weekend papers, or buying more they have a smile just the same.

Repeatedly they have gone the extra mile for me, even where possible ordering in stock on special order when there is a catalogue special I'd like to access and they currently don't have stock. This makes a big difference when people are supporting charities and animal rescue organisations at their own expense like I do & their caring assistance makes a big difference,

This is wonderful & the support they provide is appreciated so much, It does not go un-noticed and is very appreciated

IGA always go on about wanting their local community to support them. The issue today is racism. Every single time we go to grab something and check out, the staff have looked at us the wrong way or plainly ignored us. This morning my husband went to grab a quick item and had a young bloke stocking shelves and ignoring him, he was standing and waiting at the check out. The guy stared at him multiple times and kept doing what he was doing. My husband had to call out for help and another staff member came after she was done stocking shelves. Something happens each time we go there. What? We aren’t blonde and blue eyed and clearly ethnic looking so that’s a reason to be racist and ignore customers. Will never shop there again....

I was appalled when I asked for the promise price match for the Up and Go chocolate ice 12 pack selling for $14.30 at IGA toongabbie and $11.99 at Coles,Woolworths and Aldi.Manager tells me if he gave me the price match he wouldn't make any money from it.Mind you the price comparison on all their items to the other supermarkets are relatively high.I understand it is a franchise but for the manager to come out and tell me he wouldn't make any money out of me is quite disappointing despite the fact I shop here every week and spend $100.
