I have walked this a couple of times from Parramatta to Penrith. It's worthwhile and has good access to the trains. Certainly worth doing. It's not as spectacular as a Blue Mountains walk but you get to see another side of suburbs you normally...

Well maintained walking trails and beautiful scenery but unfortunately walking trails are parallel with two high voltage power lines which if you want to use this walking tracks everyday will effect the health in long run. So better to avoid it...
