⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem for Truffle Lovers!

We visited the Truffle Discovery Centre in Stanthorpe during our 2025 trip and were blown away by how fascinating and enjoyable the experience was. The tour gave us a great insight into the world of truffles — where they come from, why they’re so prized, and just how difficult they are to grow in Australia.

The Discovery Centre also has a great range of truffle products available for purchase. My personal favourites were the truffle mustard and truffle aioli — absolutely delicious!

We were also treated to some generous tastings and even a glass of bubbles, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.

Quirky little local produce providore with an extensive range of their own truffle products made with local truffles and a smattering of products from other Australian truffle producers. Plus their own relishes, chutneys,etc. and a range of local jams, honeys and the like. Also stock an eclectic mix of giftware & homewares. Oak trees have been planted on the property, but it will be several years before they're producing their own truffles. They also run the local Lawdog show, and breed & train dogs for law enforcement, security and of course, truffle hunting. Dropping in today was just fantastic! Well worth the visit, this place far exceeded our expectations. Christopher was a real gun, he answered all our questions, taught us lots about truffles & made the tasting experience a real hoot! The products are top tier, some really delicious & interesting flavours & very reasonable pricing, too. Far superior to other truffle products I've tried. Matt, the owner, is doing a commendable job with this place. We had a great little chat at the end & I very much admire his business philosophy with keeping things local, including being a valuable source of training & experience for the local kids entering the workforce into a quality job.
