This is one of the beach stops you can make while doing the Frenchmen Bay Road through Torndirrup National Park. Just take the Salmon Hole Rd turnoff, follow the signs and you'll find yourself at a carpark overlooking the beach.

Salmon Holes is a beautiful little bay with pristine beach and fairly wild waves crashing in. It is a popular spot for beach and rock fishing. We watched a few trying their luck during our recent visit. You will find a nice lookout point a short walk from the carpark. You can take nice pictures from here. You can also walk down a set of steps all the way down to the beach if you want to walk the...

Salmon Holes – Albany, WA

Salmon Holes is a stunning spot with incredible views over the coastline. The beach is surrounded by cliffs, making it feel very secluded and peaceful. It’s a great place to take in the natural beauty of Albany, and the lookout above gives you some fantastic photo opportunities.

The walk down is fairly steep, so good shoes are recommended, but it’s definitely worth the effort. A beautiful place to visit and soak up...

Cant believe you need to pay a fee just to visit the car park, which is too small to cater for the volume of Salmon fishermen during the Salmon season. I remember a time when you could visit the Albany coast and not be harassed by the extortionists from CALM/DEC/DePaW or whatever they call themselves this month, the carpark is too small, there are no facilities there so why...
