After severe drought for many months in South Australia, the water fall was a tiny one even after a month or so in the wet season since late May.
If you are lucky, you may see koalas on the way from the car park to the first fall. I saw 3 during my visit last Saturday. They mainly lived in the gumtrees near the car park.
If you want a more spectacular view of the First Fall, you can hike a bit up the hill to the Eagles Nest Lookout. After arriving at the Eagles Nest Lookout, you can go further to arrive at Second Fall and finally arrive at Third Fall. Total time for uphill may be 1 hour and a half. Return trip from 3rd Fall back to the car park is just downhill, so perhaps just 35 to 45 minutes can do.
