Beautiful peak to hike to in the summer. You can get here using the cable car at Gerlossteinbahn/Zillertal Arena❌️ and then hiking using the exit to the right. The path has singes along the way, but I recommend getting a local map for tourists or a hiking app map.

Hervorragender klettersteig für Schwindelfreie kletterer! Nicht bei feuchtem Wetter Klettern, die Wand ist nördlich gerichtet und bekommt daher nur wenig Sonne. Feuchter Fels trocknet dort nur sehr langsam.

Erg leuke Klettersteig. Moeilijkheidsgraad is C/D. Dat staat ook zo op sommige websites, maar volgens het officiële kaartje zijn er meerdere D-passages (wat het tot een D-Klettersteig zou maken). Dat is echter overdreven: de sleutelpassages zijn eerder C/D. Volgens hetzelfde kaartje omvat de Klettersteig ook veel C/D en C passages, maar deze zijn eerder B/C en B, waarbij je niet loodrecht omhoog klimt, maar tegen de berg kunt leunen. Desniettemin ongeschikt...

Wunderbarer Steig, kurzer Zustieg von der Bergstation ca 20Min. Die Gerlossteinwand sieht imposant aus. Der Steig lässt sich wunderbar klettern und ist schön luftig. Mitte Oktober war es noch voll ok trotz der Höhe, ist aber natürlich Schnee- und Wetterabhängig. Der Steig hat einen schönen Verlauf und oben erwartet einen ein toller Blick über das Zillertal. Abstieg ca. 30Min Dann noch ein paar Bierchen und Zirbenschnäpse im Haus Gerlosstein und der Tag...
