3K K-onnection — Local services in Kaprun

I had the pleasure of visiting 3K K-onnection in July 2025, and it was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Kaprun. This state-of-the-art cable car offers a seamless and unforgettable journey from the charming Maiskogel all the way up to the majestic Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.

Even in summer, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. As the gondola smoothly ascended, I was surrounded by panoramic views of lush alpine meadows, deep valleys, and snow-capped peaks in the distance. The ride itself is incredibly comfortable and modern, with wide glass windows offering uninterrupted scenery throughout the entire route.

The engineering behind this project is impressive you really feel like you’re floating through the heart of the Alps. It’s not just transportation; it’s part of the adventure.
