I had a very troubling experience at this café in 01 Sep 2024 around 2:30 PM.
After ordering for my wife, I stepped outside for a walk, and she was harassed by a waiter (bald man) because of her hijab. Despite her attempts to avoid him by moving to an outdoor table, he continued to follow her.
I encourage the management to review the security cameras to confirm this incident. It’s crucial that all visitors feel respected, regardless of their faith or appearance.
No one should face such treatment in a public space.

I appreciate your reply, but I must clarify that my wife did not receive just a simple inquiry for help. When she was inside, the intended waiter asked her if she needed assistance, and after she said no, the intended waiter continued to harass her with comments in his local language while laughing with some local customers.
When my wife moved outside, the intended waiter asked her again if she needed help, and after she replied "no," the intended waiter mocked her by repeating "no no no no" and continued speaking in your local language while laughing with some local customers.

Read moreThe first thing you notice about this place is the stunning view, where the main windows and balcony face the Grossglockner, Austria’s tallest mountain, which a gorgeous natural backdrop.
The second thing that struck me was the food portions. The AreitLounge offers generously portioned, very hearty Austrian meals for a good price. The meals that were ordered were so big, that our party were not able to finish it all. The Käseknockerln toipped with roasted was cheesy and super filling. It might be worth sharing one portion if your fancy a dessert. The Topfenstrudl filling was on the firmer side which I likened to a baked cheesecake, but not too sweet.
The service was friendly and the staff were quite prompt in seeing the food and clearing it away when we were ready.
This place is a definite must after a good walk in the mountains (or skiing in...
Read moreGreat venue and good food but absolutely disgusting service. German lady with short blonde hair shouted at my 4 year old girls for taking an ice cream after their lunch from the ice cream fridge. All of my children were so upset and crying and in complete shock for having never been shouted at by a complete stranger. When we arrived, there was no outdoor terrace table available so we sat inside and ordered food and then saw a table become free so I proceeded to try and move my family outside and the same lady shouted at me IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO CHANGE TABLE, KITCHEN CLOSED. This is long before we even received our food which took about 45 minutes to come. Completely astonished by such rude service that almost ruined our entire afternoon up on the mountain. Will never...
