The sharks are very friendly. We saw them in December 2016 & again in March 2021. It was so nice to interact with these docile creatures who loved all the attention they were getting. They must be happy b/c there is no pen...

Definitely go here if you can! It is a crazy experience to swim with sharks! This is a very kid friendly experience. The guides were wonderful with kids. No swimming skills needed since the water is shallow enough...

Die Bucht von Compass Cay liegt sehr geschützt und ist wunderschön anzusehen. Kristallklares Wasser und blaue, seichte Lagunen laden zum Baden und Schnorcheln ein. Beim betreten des Stegs sind pro Person 10$ "Eintritt" zu entrichten. Direkt am Anlegesteg gibt es eine Tolle, urige Hütte/Bar die ein echter Hingucker und definitiv ein Foto wert ist. Aber die eigentliche Attraktion sind natürlich die Haie. Auf einem extra im Wasser liegenden Steg, kann man die Tiere aus nächster Nähe Sehen und sogar streicheln. Ganz mutige können auch mit in Wasser springen und mit ihnen schwimmen. Ein Ausflugsziel das definitiv lohnt und auf keiner Bahamas Reise...

Definitely go here if you can! It is a crazy experience to swim with sharks! This is a very kid friendly experience. The guides were wonderful with kids. No swimming skills needed since the water is shallow enough to stand in.

Wir haben die Haie im Zuge eines Tagesausfluges besucht - ein tolles Erlebnis. Alle sehr zahm und neugierig. Obwohl sehr viele Touristen da sind, hat man nicht das Gefühl das es überfüllt ist. Die Leute von Compass Cay sind superfreundlich, was erstaunlich ist, wenn man bedenkt, dass sie tagtäglich von hunderten Touristen belagert werden :) Eine aufregendes Erlebnis und unbedingt empfehlenswert.
