SCAM alert! Careful with the staff if you need a taxi! We went shopping there by foot to stock up our Airbnb fridge. Midway through shopping I realized we couldn't walk back with all the stuff including the water bottles. A nice clerk suggested asking customer service to call a taxi for us. We went to customer service after paying our grocery and there were two employees standing there, one of them a lady, who said 'yes no problem'! But then instead of calling a cab she took us to her personal car after picking up her keys and personal stuff inside the store's office in front of the customer service (so we know she's an employee of the store, likely on active duty that day). I asked politely how much for the 2.4 kilometres ride and she said it's free, I won't charge you a thing. I responded no one works for free so I will give you something. At destination I dug 6$ and offered it. She said "that's not enough I want 25$," which I paid to avoid problems. Clearly this lady should be reprimanded, as she was an active employee of the store at the time of the scam, with a direct impact on it's reputation. Avoid this...

I like this shop. It's a nice place to shop in comfort and in a clean and attractive environment. My issue is that they never have quite a number of items in stock and I would still have to leave there and go to another store to get them. For example on a single trip they were out of a brand of cereal I wanted, a certain pasta sauce, a certain ice cream, all 2% milk, a type of soup and a number of other items that they had recently. They do get the items back in stock eventually but sometimes that takes days and even weeks on occasion (cheerios with high protein, lipton cup a soup packs chicken flavor, magnum chocolate caramel ice cream bars) . So they have a problem either with tracking items or obtaining them from their warehouse. This happens over and over with different items and popular items that should always be in stock and I always end up having to go the their competition up the road to complete my shopping. It's really the convenience that keeps me coming back. Their produce selection is awesome though! And very good quality meats. I love the deli section as well, I can order as much or as little deli meats and cheeses as i want. That being said there are alot of slow and no moving items in the store. The shelf space could be used for items that will actually sell. And they are not very good at sourcing items you ask for. Which the difficulties of the pandemic are not to blame.
