This is an only cruise accessible island for travelers taking Disney Cruises in the Caribbean. You usually have on day to spend here. Without planned activities, the island already has many areas you can use on your own. There are two waterslides, extensive beaches, a bike trail, and many stations for snacks and drinks. There is even a play area for little ones if the adults want to relax. The main food stop is a free buffet (it comes with your cruise fare) with burgers, hotdogs, and more. There are drink stations all over the island, with some snacks if you get hungry. You are able to rent bikes to go around a 5k trail before reaching the start again. Before you take the cruise, you will be given the option to book some excursions, which are planned activities, that will have a set time upon arrival. These can range from Jet Ski tour, Fishing Trip, a stingray encounter, and more. Be warned, due to weather conditions, your excursion may be canceled and you will be refunded. For an extra fee, you can also rent private cabanas for your family, which serves as a good home base when you’re tired of walking. The cast members here are extremely welcoming and friendly, and will help you with any concern you may have. Also, if you ever finish early, you can always go onto the ship for other activities. The only sad part is that I can’t stay...

They bring everything outside and it is just so much fun to have lunch on the island. There is so much to do that the time goes by so fast.
Just remember to bring full bottle of sunscreen with you on the island, it gets hot and skin starts to burn. Also don't forget to bring camera to capture this...
Read moreCastaway Cay is a great Island getaway. It's my favorite island to visit in the Bahamas. There are plenty of free beach chairs and umbrellas for everyone and the food is top notch and included in the price of your Disney cruise.
There are all kinds of activities for everyone in the family so you'll never be bored. There is snorkeling, slides, bicycles, inner tubes and the Castaway Cay 5k. There are all the standard excursions too such as parasailing, scuba and deep sea fishing.
If you get tired of kids, you can always go to the adults only beach. The whole developed part of the island is quite small, so getting around by foot or shuttle is very quick.
Highly...
