Mama Suzie Jamaican Kitchen — Local services in Antwerp

Went out to dinner some weeks ago with my partner and stumbled onto this place. The restaurant only has 1 table for two as it is mostly focused on take out and delivery. But dont be fooled, Mama Suzie really makes you feel welcomed and it feels like you are at her home for dinner. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas, my partner got the rasta pasta which is vegan. The chicken was well seasoned and grilled to perfection while still juicy. The rasta pasta had a rich and creamy sauce that was packed with veggies. If you are unsure on what to order just ask, but in my opinión you can’t order something bad here. I will definitely come back to try the desserts and the patties. The homemade sorrel drink with hibiscus was also really good and packed with spices. I cannot recommend this...

We went there on a Sunday sometime after midday and she wasn't opened as yet and had posted notes of why she wasn't opened at her regular timing. I knocked she came and with open arms she welcomed us in. The place was clean and inviting. The customer service was emaculate. Not to mention the food, it was absolutely delicious. My pickie eating children had so much to eat and kept talking about their ratings for the food. She was so kind with her word and how she gave. Just a super positive post. I visited Mama Suzie’s Jamaican Kitchen Thursday and again Friday for the Fish Fry! 😍 The food here is INCREDIBLE! I order the curry goat and jerk chicken meals with Sorrel Pineapple & Ginger Beer and obviously fish on the Friday! It was an experience.
