This was a pleasant surprise. Basically, it's a swimming hole with easy access into the water as there is a concrete platform with steps into the pond. There are no changing facilities so come prepared, or get comfortable with your modesty... or go au naturel which is not allowed but as there was no one there during my visit...
If you have paid to go to St. Herman's Cave, your admission is valid here as it is the same park. Otherwise, open up your wallet for the minimal fee. The pool is deep enough to swim... maybe 10 ft in the middle. And you can hang out along the cliff behind/under where the little waterfall pours into the pool. Lastly, there are numerous fish of various sizes in the water who will congregate around you (I think to eat the dead skin off your body) so if that weirds you out...

There are lots of fish swimming around, once in a while they may peck at you but doesn't hurt. The bottom is deceptive, deeper than it seems because water is so clear. Read moreA nice stop. The blue hole is not very big. But even on a cloudy day, the part near the hole was very blue. The water is not very cold. The kids loved sitting in the water and the fish would come nibble on their feet. The area around the hole is lush and green. Unlike the ST. Herman cave there are massive mosquitoes and sundry bugs here. Please slather yourself with lots of bug spray before and immediately after you come out...
