This is a massive temple inside the site of Lamanai. This massive temple stands 33 metres tall, and is very accessible. Although it is alot of stairs, it is worth it, as the view is breathtaking. If you are with a tour guide, it is the 2nd temple you will attend, and is hardly the last. There are amazing animals and such, just in this site. Although they only show you a few, there are said to be many temples on the grounds, as the whole area is as big as Belieze City! Recommend for families with any age of kids, just bring...

Epic. Well worth the time and price! Roughly 90 minutes of amazing jungle river cruising with tons of birds, crocs, an occasional manatee ending with the Lamani complex. Amazing ruins, tons more wildlife, including troupes of monkies and a truly majestic set of temples. Gilberto, our guide, was outstanding- besides all the possible info you might want, he was a terrific boat captain and an even better human being. After lunch at Lamani, 90ish more minutes back up the river, which will remind you of Apocalypse Now. Very highly...

The river boat ride was as good or better than the ruins. Slow ride in as Vladimir pointed out local wildlife. Can you spot the Crocodile and Roseate Spoonbill? How about the Howler Monkey? On the way out the fast ride in the narrow river was a blast.... After seeing some amazing ruins like Angkor Watt the Myan ruins was a little underwhelming but then again it is its own story and still very cool with history. Our guide Vladimir was a little wordy at times but some like it that way. Overall a...
