Harvest Caye — Local services in Toledo District

My wallet got stolen out of my bag. The whole time I was trying to make a report, the security guards were trying to make it seem like I had lost it when I clearly told them that it had been in a zipped up compartment of my bag. It eventually got returned to the cruise ship and Guest Services once again told me that it had been found, made it seem like I was lucky. When I pointed out that all the cash was missing from my wallet they looked at me incredulously, how possibly could the cash be missing when I had lost my wallet and it had been kindly picked up and returned, what a ludicrous idea. They also asked me if I knew a Martha, whose keycard was stuffed in my wallet. When I said no, and that keycard had nothing to do with me, they again looked surprised. Yes. This has the potential of being a really fun stop, but the cost of food and drinks ruined it for us. You were being offered the same menu as the boat but for $15-20 per item. Not at all appealing to us. As soon as lunchtime hit, we headed back to the boat for the rest of the time to enjoy the same food and drinks for free. We found Harvest Cay to be alluring, but there are some differences versus NCL's other Caribbean island, Great Stirrup Cay. Firstly, the east beach ocean water can be mucky and inhospitable, so traverse the island for the best beach experience. The central pool on the island is very enjoyable no matter what!
