I miss the place and especially its wonderful people! The accommodation was great, but it was the people and the wild life, the nature that blew us away. We still think often of our safari rides with July, our animal whisperer, they were so very special. The wonderful dinners, Rose who was always there to welcome us back into camp when we arrived from another amazing adventurous ride, the early breakfast at the boma, the laughter and joy. The welcoming when they greeted us with song and dance. All was so amazing, many beautiful memories were made, and friendships too! This place is special. Go and be open, listen to what the people there tell you and laugh with them. Open up and let the people in, and let them show you the true nature of Africa, and boy do they have a lot to show you. And go for each and every safari ride! Enjoy the spectacular sunrises and sunsets and open your heart. You will be rewarded immensely!

Outstanding lodge set in stunning nature. We felt very welcome by the amazing staff who were all attentive and friendly and felt like friends after a short time. The food was fine dining - level, handmade, fresh and healthy with amazing choices for vegetarians. The rustic tents are spotless clean and very comfortable. I could go on and on about the campfire, the long dinner table, the bar, the beautiful views, the game drives, but I would recommend to everybody to go to Sango Safari Camp and experience it yourself!

The whole team from Bush Ways at Sango is wonderful and the place is a gem. We would like to thank Rose, Mahindi, Flora and MsiT for making our stay so perfect. And special thanks, of course, to our guide KB for all the fun and wealth of interesting information shared with us. You guys cannot imagine how much we enjoyed staying with you. This was a dream.

We, a family of 4 (Two Children aged 10 & +13 years) stayed at Sango Safari Camp at the beginning of October for 3 nights, and we had an absolutely amazing time there!|We were picked up at the airstrip by Pako, who was our guide during the whole time we stayed at the camp. Pako, even though very young, was an amazing guide, he knew a lot and was able to answer all the questions about the animals and environment we had. Also, he was very funny and especially good with our children! He even found the leopard we really wanted to see!|We saw leopards, wild dogs, lions, hyenas, jackals, marabou, waterbuck, red lechwe, elephants, buffalos and many, many more!|The tents at the camp were very nice, the beds perfect! We loved the outdoor shower.|From the veranda, (and from the bed, as the front of the tent can be rolled up, so there is only the mosquito net between you and nature!) we had a great view of the Khwai river and its animals.|At night we were able to hear the sound of Khwai /Moremi, which was great! |We very much enjoyed the meals, which all the guests and a guide eat together at a long table. The food was the best we had in all of Botswana!|Breakfast at the fire early in the morning was great, I can still smell the toast on the fireplace.|All the staff were very friendly, and we instantly felt at home. |We can highly recommend the mokoro trip. I first was a little bit worried about hippos and crocs, but it was very calm and safe, and I wouldn’t want to have missed it. |A big thank you to all of the Sango Safari Camp staff, we had a fabulous time, and really hope to be...

We had such an amazing experience at Sango safari camp. The staff were all so caring and attentive, and our guide, KB, was absolutely incredible at tracking and finding animals on our game drives, and he was super knowledgeable about all of the species. We saw lions, hyenas, painted dogs, a leopard, zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, Cape buffalo, and numerous kinds of antelopes and birds. They kept us well fed both at the camp and on the drives, and the food was delicious. With a maximum of 12 guests the camp had a very intimate feel and we got to know some interesting people (both the staff and other guests). The platform tents are a great combination of rustic and luxurious, and the location right on the river allowed us to see wildlife constantly - including from a viewing platform that offered a great view of the action. We heard hippos and other wildlife throughout the night! I definitely recommend doing the mokoro (traditional canoe-like boat) for one of your drives to get a new perspective on things. Absolutely magical - I can’t...
