Sofia Ring Mall is perfect for family visits. It is located just outside the city at the foot the mountain. Therefore, you can enjoy some spectacular views of Vitosha and even the smaller ranges, especially on a clear day. The mall itself is very well-organized. There is an excellent food court with various fast food joints, including some local chains. Tables and chairs are somewhat scarce though, so sometimes, mainly on weekends, you may have to wait for a while. Furthermore, if you are looking for a more intimate atmosphere, there are also a few restaurants with great menus and service. As to the retailers, there are plenty of international brands and there is even a three-level multi-brand store called "Notos Gallery" which offers a wide range of brands within categories such as P&C, clothing, footwear, etc. To make your life easier there are a few banks, an insurance agent, a huge DIY store, "Mr. Bricolage", and a very big "Lidl". There are plenty of amenities for kids such as the "Fun Ring Park" (which is both a playground and an arcade), a smaller playground (paid) right next to the food court, an indoor and an outdoor events areas and a very good cinema. The underground parking lot is huge and very convenient. Besides it is free of charge. Overall it is one of the best malls in Sofia and also one of the least crowded which makes it perfect for shopping, eating out or just...

I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Here was a shopping center that was bursting at the seams with stores, yet nearly devoid of customers. It was as if I had stumbled into a ghost town where consumerism had taken over as the dominant spirit.

The shops themselves were a testament to the mall's ambition. There were high-end boutiques, artisanal bakeries, and even a specialty knife store that seemed to cater to a very specific clientele. But the lack of foot traffic was palpable, like a giant vacuum had sucked all the shoppers out of the building.

As I walked past store after store, I couldn't help but feel like I was in some sort of twisted museum of commerce. The shelves were stocked, the mannequins were dressed, and the music played on, but there was no one there to appreciate it. It was a strange, surreal experience that left me feeling both disoriented and oddly fascinated.

And yet, for all its eeriness, there was a certain beauty to Ring Mall's emptiness. The stark contrast between the abundance of shops and the absence of customers created a kind of post-apocalyptic tableau that was both haunting and intriguing.

So if you're in the mood for some retail therapy in a mall that's almost completely devoid of people, Ring Mall might just be the place for you. Just be prepared to feel like you're in a parallel universe where shopping is both abundant and...

Extremely crowded Here's a review of the Ring Mall:

2/5 stars I recently visited the Ring Mall, and while it offers a variety of stores and dining options, there are some significant drawbacks.

Crowds and Parking The mall is extremely crowded, which can make shopping and dining a bit overwhelming. The parking situation is even more challenging, with a small parking lot that fills up quickly. It's frustrating to circle around, waiting for a spot to open up.

Weather-Related Issues When it rains, the parking areas (both underground and above ground) tend to get wet, which can be inconvenient and slippery.

Suggestions for Improvement To improve the overall experience, I would suggest:

Expanding parking capacity: Adding more parking spaces or exploring alternative parking solutions could help alleviate congestion. Improving drainage: Enhancing drainage systems in the parking areas could help mitigate water accumulation during rainfall.

While the Ring Mall has its strengths, addressing these issues would significantly enhance the overall...

Sofia Ring Mall is a spacious, modern shopping center with over 200 stores and 400+ brands, offering a solid variety for shoppers. Its location near Vitosha Mountain provides nice views, and the free parking (3,500 spaces) is a big plus. The mall features unique amenities like an indoor karting track, a large amusement center for kids, and a pet-friendly policy. However, public transport access is limited, so driving or taking a taxi is recommended. The food court can be messy, but restaurants like Roma Bene and Victoria offer better dining with mountain views. A great spot for families and shopping, though it may lack some high-end brands.

I was about to give four stars, because of the location, which is in the middle of nowhere (you really need to have something to do, to go there)! However, I gave the star back cause I found out that the parking is for free (I guess the only mall in Sofia where parking is for free). The mall is very practical for the people living in the neighbourhoods around, and if I am not mistaken it’s the biggest mall in Sofia(far from the center though). Full of shops! Personally, we went there to visit the “Half Price” shop which opened something like 2 weeks ago! Was nice!
