FIELDS Elk Point — Local services in Alberta

I always have a bad experience at Fields in Elk Point. Every time ask for help, I don’t get it. I get hassled and harassed by the sales staff. The last time I was there, I asked why I was being treated this way. The reply was that I come in wearing my clothes on inside out and that I broke a jar of spaghetti sauce. She may have had more excuses, but truthfully, I stop listening after she told me that she didn’t like to give me any kind of customer service because I wear my clothes on inside out. When I told her that I have severe fibromyalgia. She looked at me as though I was lying. I really have a very hard time wearing my clothes with the seems against my skin. They do hurt me tremendously. I am not untidy or unkempt whenever I go in , I guess the sales people there don’t like it when I need to wear my clothes inside out. Always enjoyed this store, has a huge variety. Was thoroughly disappointed today. Purchased a few canned items, discovered they expired last year so I called to advise. No apology, no offer to exchange or refund. It wasn't that expensive but I'd advise the customer service needs to be reviewed and revised. I think it's great that we have a Fields store in Elk Point. They have a wide array of goods at reasonable prices. I always check to see if they have things I need there, before running to larger towns to shop there, or shopping online. We need to support these local businesses whenever we can.
