Jade Bay Beach has a trial dog beach off to the right when you get down there. It wasnt busy at all when I was there today. The water is fantastic for swimming and paddling, and my dog had a great time off leash. As it is a trial run section of the beach, please make sure to respect the rules, and clean up after your pet. 😊 Its about 150-200m walk down from the parking lot, and the hill isn't super steep, but steep enough that it could be an issue for those with mobility issues.

A bit of a secluded, hidden gem in kalamalka park. A fairly short walk down from the parking lot. Nice and clean without any garbage, and a pit toilet up the hill. Beach is kinda gravely but about 5 feet into the water it is sandy instead. Not very busy on a hot July Monday afternoon compared to Kal beach. You can see from pics that the beach is nice...

A bit rocky in spots on the beach & a bit in the water but gorgeous otherwise. And can't beat being on Kal Lake! I'd say the water is considerably cooler than my usual go to beach on Okanagan lake as well 🙂

Steep dirt hill to get down to the beach though so not good for anyone with...
