I took 5 French Classes with Improv in Person ( before Covid) and on 8 Classes on Zoom in 2021. I absolutely Loved it. What a great way during Pandemic to Learn French in a Fun Engaging way, meet new people and make friends!

I am a very Begginer! Loved the group setting! In person we dressed up, did acting on the spot and laughed a lot! Very memorable experience! On Zoom I took classes twice a week, we played lots of games in French, talked about real Life situations, It was very safe environment to make mistakes and have fun! There was homework too! After every session Ingrid followed up with the email with all the words/ expressions we learnt.

After a month I was able to introduce myself in French really well and have a conversation for about 10 min! I use Duolingo but Nothing can replace a Human touch and fun energy in a virtual room.

Ingrid is amazing! She will assess your French level and will carefully find the best group for you where you can grow and have fun! ! I highly recommend her classes...

Hello my name is Mauro, I’m originally from Chile and now I’m living in Vancouver. I met Ingrid at the theatre because of alliance français de Vancouver was giving the chance to see the show. I had so much fun watching her play because I remember they were talking about the French Caribbean Islands and how different was with the weather here in Vancouver, so the music the play all that took back at the time when I had the chance to go to those French Caribbean islands and I think was amazing to me hehe. Then we started to have a little chat after the play and that’s was how we ended up sharing ours Instagram and going to one of her clases of French that she teaches through acting and improv! I had so much fun but I also learned a lot. I’ve been interested and passionate about the language since I was 16. Over time I’ve learned bits and pieces through school and on my own. During the pandemic it was a happy coincidence that I found Ingrid on eventbrite. She is friendly, creative, and interactive. As any caring and impactful teacher, she always finds ways to ensure that the lessons and activities are tweaked to fit everyone’s level. The reality is that we as students will always be at different levels within different aspects of language acquisition.

Ingrid knows this and that is why she so seamlessly makes it all work for us. Her dedication is to be applauded and recognized. I am proud to be one of her students that is continuing to pursue a passion with someone just as passionate.
