A short but beautiful trail. Dog friendly. Good for the family with kids. There are some up-and-downs and stairs. The rocks are wet and slippery. Bringing a poles helps. It took us one hour to get to the beach and 45 minutes to go back to the parking. Overall Worths it!

Beautiful hiking trail, with some up and down hills, there are some steps. Its not a flat easy walking path at some parts, but I think everybody can do it with any level of hiking experience. It's about 5KM long from parking to the island and back.

Great trail with lots of shade during the summer time. I didn't bring a swimsuit, but looked like a perfect place to swim at the end of the trail as well. If you're not an experienced hiker then you will definitely feel the muscle pain that day.

I've done this walk a few times before. Very easy walking for all age groups. Some older people or very young children may find trouble with some of the steeper sections and you definitely get your heart rate up a bit.

A word of warning for visiting in summer. Parking is extremely difficult to find and adds another hour to your hike if you have to park in the "overflow parking" in Belcarra. As well, please consider the danger of trying to swim to the island. The current can be strong and it's farther...
