The booking didn't go entirely according to plan. Turns out that when your chosen time slot shows up a highlighted yellow, it means that it is reserved. I reserved a time that was reserved and it showed me that the reservation was booked. But when I got there, another family had the reservation for my chosen time. My family and I did three escape rooms while visiting Montreal, and this was hands down my favorite! The staff were friendly and accommodating. I read the time wrong on my booking and thought it was 20:00, but it was actually 22:00. We showed up two hours early and the staff allowed us to play a different game that started at 20:00 instead. We ended up doing the The Salutem Medicina Institute and I'm so glad that my mistake resulted in this room! It was innovative and challenging! I don't want to give too much away, but the 13+ rating was appropriate given some of the content of the room, but there were no jump scares or anything like that.
