Petinos has become a breakfast mainstay for the Greater Montreal Area. The Rosemere location is relatively new and well located across the street from Place Rosemere Mall. Sunday brunch at noon is definitely an extremely busy time but thankfully we only waited around 10 minutes. The service was spot on. The staff were attentive to the clientele making sure our needs were met. The food was fresh and well seasoned. Unlike other breakfast places, the food was not bland, overcooked, pre-cooked or simply plopped onto your plate. (Think potatoes, meats and fruit.) Thank you for that! The restaurant is pleasantly designed and although it was full, it wasn't boisterous. Overall, extremely pleased with...
Read moreI tried this restaurant enough to give this review. They should not offer benedicts or just cook the traditional and easy style, since they want to be creative with the other kind of beneditcs. If you are going to offer the version with ex: avocats, then do a decent preparation of it and not just a sad tartare with not flavor, or if you are going to use spinach then cook them just don't thrown them in the benedicts and if you offer the tomatoes version well make sure to be grilled and dont put normal nasty tomatoes on the benedicts that make them watery and horrible. Or maybe just stick with...
I’ve always been a loyal customer of the Pétinos chain, especially the Sainte-Dorothée location, where I’ve never had any issues. Unfortunately, that changed after visiting Pétinos Rosemère on Sunday, April 27.
My daughter and I shared a California Benedict and Macedoin Benedict — our only meal of the day. A few hours later, we both experienced severe food poisoning symptoms: intense vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps. I had to be hospitalized until the evening of April 28, and while my daughter had milder symptoms, they were very similar.
This was a serious health incident, and I am deeply disappointed. I urge the management to investigate this matter seriously, review food safety protocols, and take immediate sanitary action to prevent this from happening to...
