To begin, I ordered my sofa on July 5th. I received an order confirmation email and a separate email thanking me for my purchased. That’s all very nice, but there was no news following that regarding my delivery or the process for scheduling a delivery.
On July 7th, I sent an emailing inquiring as to how that would be scheduled. I was informed that my sofa would be ready in about a week and at that time, I would receive a call to schedule delivery. There was no follow up email or call. On July 17th, I emailed again inquiring about delivery of my item and received no response.
It is noteworthy that the money was very quickly charged to my credit card despite have no actual date for receiving my sectional.
On July 20th I called the store and spoke with Nav. He was able to quickly arrange a delivery date for me. This was the only positive aspect of the entire purchasing process. On that call, I was informed that my delivery would take place Thursday July 23rd. I was not informed of any other precautions to take or anything that could be a hindrance to the delivery.
Today is July 23rd. I have just received my sectional and had an awful delivery experience. The driver called me 15 minutes before arriving and claimed he was at the back door of my apartment building. He was not.
Upon their eventual arrival, I was informed by the delivery men that they could not enter my apartment to actually leave the large and cumbersome boxes containing my sectional. They heaved the boxes from the truck and left them in the hallway at the bottom of the stairwell for my apartment.
Now again, I was not made aware of this issue prior to delivery. If I had been aware, I would have requested a delivery time when my partner was home and could help me put the boxes in the apartment.
Despite my saying that I was the only one home and could not get the boxes into my apartment, they were left out in a common area of my apartment building. This constitutes an incomplete delivery. It also poses the very absurd issue of blocking the entire walkable space for anyone else who lives in the building and either needed to enter or leave their home.
I am fully cognizant of precautions needing to be taken due to the pandemic. However there was no prior communication of these precautions. I was not able to accommodate them by ensuring someone was home with me and able to help finish moving the objects.
There’s also the glaring issue of seeing a fellow human in need and literally abandoning them with no assistance.
Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this company ever again. Which is unfortunate because I have just found myself in need of a new bed frame and had previously been looking at their site to see what they had.
Now obviously I don’t have any comments on my actual sectional as it is currently still sitting in the boxes unmoved from where they were abandoned. My boyfriend won’t be home from work until 2am so I guess that’s when...
Read moreI gave the rate of 2 as an average of in person service vs after purchase customer service. I dealt with Vinny on Fri April 8. I knew what I wanted - it was a matter of seeing the item and making the purchase - it was an easy sale.
I had the sofabed sectional item delivered on April 14 and from there it has been a disaster ever since and here is why.
The items arrived in my apartment, but I had to put it together my self. I was not told this at the time of purchase, I am only a girl and purchased the unit for my new apartment. Had I know that I would not have made the purchase.
I was told it was easy, it was a matter of clicking it in place.
When I advised that I couldn’t do it myself and that I needed help on April 16, I was told that I would have to call on Tuesday as his people were all out for the long weekend.
I called Tues and was told that no one could come till Thursday, April 18.
I called Thursday and was told they would come Friday.
Friday came, I called to confirm that they were coming that night - yes, his guys said they would come by at 6pm. 5pm that day - Vinny called and said that his guys could no longer come and soonest would be Monday and I would have to pay $50 for installation.
Enough was enough, I found two guys on facebook marketplace, they were here within 90 mins. I had to pay $120 for this service.
Then during the furniture installation, the guys that came needed a 3rd set of hands to hold up one piece of the sofa, then each guy lifted up a piece of the sofa to click it in place. See pics attached.
I’m only a girl, seeing the pics how could one person put it together.
Had I known I would have had this hassle, I would have chosen another type of sofa. Their items look nice on the outside, but are not quality.
I wouldn’t recommend this place, you are better off going to the Brick, Leons or Bad Boys for the same price ($2k) and wouldn’t have had any issues. I will be lucky if this...

Bought a couch from Furniture Warehouse and it starts peeling off from a small spot after 6 months. Called them and they said don’t worry use it and if it keeps peeling off we will fix it. Few months later it started getting worst, visited them and asked them if they can fix it now(still under warranty) They said email us the pictures and we will take care of it. Emailed and waited for their call or email but didn’t receive any phone call or email. After a month visited them and he said our warehouse is closed due to covid and will call you as soon as we open. Waited for couple months visited again and he said oh I forgot to call you we were open but now our warehouse is closed again. Its been over a year now and I had visited their showroom Several times, called so many times, messaged them. Every time I go I get a response will call you in 2 weeks and will pick up your couch to fix it. Funny thing is you can order a new couch when it comes to fixing our couch their warehouse is closed. Where all other furniture stores are open. I do have bill,emails, whatsapp messages and you can see the pictures of the sofa how bad it is in just 1 year. Can’t even keep this couch in our house anymore its a complete garbage. I’m going to drop off this in front of their store so they can keep this garbage. Stay away from this store unless you can afford to change your furniture every year.
