Very nice place to soak in the hot springs. There’s a warmer pool and a cooler pool. Staff are around in case anyone gets rowdy. You have to walk there on a wooden boardwalk from the campgrounds which is beautiful little stroll, doesn’t take long to get there, about 10-15 mins depending how fast you walk. Theres change rooms at the pools but no lockers. If you stay at the campground just make sure to reserve yourself a spot because it’s likely to be busy. If you can’t find a spot to stay there is a lodge across the street and failing that there is a nice lodge and campground at Muncho Lake which is further south down the highway about 30-40 mins away and it’s a beautiful scenic drive. The cost for using the hotsprings was very cheap, it was only $12 for my fiance and I, total. Highly recommend! Dogs are allowed in the campground but not at the hot springs. There’s an electric fence to keep away wildlife around the campground but not around the pools. However if you are worried, don’t be, we had no issues and the staff there said they have never...
Read moreIt’s like a jungle in the middle of the taiga. Absolutely wild. Large parking lot with picnic tables, lots of fences and texas gates etc to protect the property. RV camping sites. Playground and pit toilets. Take the ~700m walk down the boardwalk and feel the temperature gradually increase as you cross the muskeg. By the end of the boardwalk, it looks and feels like a central american jungle. The hot springs themselves are exceptionally clean, water is crystal clear and very blue. Changing rooms are provided but there are no lockers so consider leaving your valuables in the car. Hot spring temperature is a steep gradient, the right side of the pool felt incredibly hot probably near 130F, the lower left part felt like a comfy 90F. The water has a very high mineral content and it makes your skin feel super clean and smooth. As with all hot springs, there’s a slight sulfur smell but you don’t smell of it after you dry off. Best $5...
Read moreWe stayed at the lodge across the Hwy. We came here 4/10/24, in the morning, was so pretty out, blue skies and warm…The walk is very short to the hot springs. The hot spring was So lovely and peaceful, I’ve never quite experienced anything quite like it before. Would highly recommend to stop here if you’re staying at the lodge, camping out or just driving through.
The wood walking path has some swampy scenery and trees. Be careful in the morning time as the dew can make the wood a little slippery. Getting to the hot springs there’s a men’s and women’s changing area, the changing area is outside but has privacy and more closed off almost. There’s multiple entrances to the hot springs, all have stairs(that I’ve seen). There is a mini waterfall. And many other mini waterfalls trickling into the hot springs. So so perfect, the relaxing peaceful sounds. Bring towels!!
Will definitely be back!!...
