Groves T V & Appliance Centre — Local services in Central Huron

We are repeat customers having bought from Groves twice. The first time was in 2019 when I contacted them by email to purchase a dishwasher for our lake property after scanning their web site. Amanda was very helpful with recommendations and we had the unit bought, paid and install scheduled quickly. The team who installed it arrived on time and did a great job. This past month I emailed again after scanning their web site for a washer dryer after ours died. Again Amanda was very helpful providing advice, dimensions etc. We have a small space so this time we went to the store and saw the unit as well. The paperwork and installation were all ready for us so we paid and it was delivered and installed on time with their usual great service. We are very satisfied with the appliances and beyond pleased with the great delivery and installation service including removal of the old appliances. This is our second property and we like to use local businesses instead of big box chains. We would recommend Groves...

We were in the market for a washer and dryer. Groves Appliances (Clinton) was the closest retailer to us, carrying Huebsch (Speed Queen). As we knew the exact model, we immediately searched out the laundry set, when we entered the store. We were approached by Desi. He explained all the features of the set, showed us the mechanics, on a near by (large) computer screen. All the while, we felt no sales pressure. We asked about delivery, as we do not live in the area. The delivery fee was more than reasonable, considering current diesel prices. AND the fee includes appliance hook up, removal of packaging and removal of the used appliances. Desi was also able to offer us a fair discount. He was a pleasure to deal with. Delivery was arranged for the following week. We received a phone call the day before, confirming the delivery window. The delivery men showed up, when they said they would. They were courteous and friendly. We were more than pleased with all aspects of our purchase from Groves TV...

We are new to the area and found this was one of our best purchase experiences. Due to space limitations we required a 27" clothes dryer not the standard 29". The sales person was very helpful and went on line to meet our requirements. The dryer was ordered and was delivered the following week. When it arrived the driver noticed that the width was 29" wide not the 27" we required. He immediately checked on line and discovered that the wrong width infomation was on the appliance company's website. The delivery person (Dan) apologized and said he could modify our countertop in order for the dryer to fit and save us the cost and time of ordering us another dryer. He completed the modifcations and the dryer fit in the space like a glove. Very rarely do you get service like this anymore. We would highly recommend Groves Appliance Centre for your appliance needs. We wll certainly make Groves our first choice for any future appliance...
