Héritage Saint-Bernard — Local services in Châteauguay

This place is a hidden gem of châteauguay! It is a great place to get away but stay in châteauguay, from relaxing to bird watching, deer watching, apple picking, ship watching, etc... Great relief to be by the water for super hot weather. Excellent for picnic. Extremely well kept and clean. Great for ball kicking, playing catch, frisbee, etc.. Walking trail available. Water activities to do in the summer. Very old tower to climb for fun. Best kept secret. I'm afraid more ppl will start coming and I will not have the open green space I'm used to. Also a walking trail park across the island which is just as beautiful and welcoming as the island (watch out for grass snakes) where u can spot groundhogs, beavers, meerkats, etc..this place...

Beautiful place to nature walk or hike, take all the photos you can. Such a wonderful sanctuary. This nature sanctuary can be walked through or around the island. You can also buy lunch or coffee, and souvenirs. I haved walked the island several times about 8 km. This weekend I decided to Kayak around this island. Just a gorgeous area and friendly people. Biggest bird sanctuary...

Beautiful nature path around the whole island! They also have an apple orchard and plays (in French only, sorry!) A great place to spend a whole day with family and friends, and all within a 25 minute drive from Montreal, near Chateauguay...
