It is always a very fun and positive experience. The new buildings are nice however, the petting zoo area was sweltering hot and the poor animals needed more airflow in a big way. Miss the old decrepit barns but for safety reasons they all came down. I was disappointed to not see all the usual events at the rodeo. No broncs or bullring but the chuckwagons are always entertaining and enjoyable. The midway never disappoints. All the vendors changed as there were no more outbuilding which was sad as there used to be amazing vendors. But lack of anywhere to set up was a big factor. Tge light horse show is always fun to watch as well as the heavy draft horses. Can walk through the drafts horse buildings still and see all the fluffy beautiful rabbits still. The new ticket system is online which is very nice even the 50/50 draws. Big plus. All in all its still a great experience and...

Worst experience ...my first Rodeo and my last.. unbelievable no directions GPS takes me to an entrance where there a building that says office above the door and information sign on the steps.. but had no Information ..then my tickets wouldn't scan had to wait in line to have them printed... i paid for 5 day all event pass with reserved seating... yet I could find any where that the watering hole has a cover charge.. so much for all event pass.. false advertising... unbelievable... Then i paid for parking for the weekend and the next day the parking lot is full no parking alrhough i already paid..cause they over sold parking.. then try to find someone to ask about all this.. and well it's someone else's problem.. I didn't stay for the last day because of the sheer disappointment... and I will...

Enjoyed the rodeo, displays and agricultural shows. Wild pony races and calf scramble were hilarious. The chuckwagon races were exhilarating, especially since they seem so close to you. The only complaint I have is that the security personnel need to be doing a more thorough job of keeping people from standing in the walkway blocking spectators views.
