HEY EDMONTON !! LISTEN UP !! after several disappointments with other bbq places , we came across Joanne's Bbq House ! in a very unassuming store front, very friendly staff waiting to greet us as we entered ,after drooling over the menu items for like 10 minutes , we finally decided what to try out !pork rings ,jumbo squid on a skewer , and 2 meat plate for me (pork belly n brisket , 2 sides were baked mac n cheese and slaw )and My Friend had pork spring rolls ,double cheese n bacon loaded burger with fries , well when our food was brought out to our van , we were in for a delicious delight !i started off with the squid on a stick , for a guy with not 1 tooth in his mouth i thought i might be in for a tough chew , but to my surprise it was tender and the coating was perfectly seasoned and was very delicious !the pork rings were just as delicious as the brisket n crispy pork belly which was so juicy n tender with a very savory homemade bbq sauce !!sadly they were out of Cornbread , I had no room for the slaw or mac n cheese , my cohort was totally taken aback by the sheer size of the homemade fresh beef monster burger in front of her ! after planning the best way to attack this humongous heaping of crispy fried patties and the more then generous amounts of fresh toppings , and to top it off it came with a generous portion of daily fresh cut French fries that we continued to munch on well after we both were stuffed to the gills! we had no choice but to bring home some of the few left overs ! we are already planning our next visit with my 3 grandchildren in near future ! Only ordered the chicken skins again for the 2nd time to give them another chance, don't get me wrong.it tasted delicious but with dire consequences. Both times now me and wife are left throwing up I thought maybe had too much the first time but we shared it this time with same results. I believe the rest of the food is probably great but I don't eat pork so there's not much for me to order to know. There is Definitely not something right with the chicken skin as despite how good it tastes I've never felt so sick within hours after eating something and nothing else. Didn't say anything In person because I didn't expect to feel this way again hours later...

Edit: I ate it outside the restaurant at the table there provided as I really was hungry and hadn't ate anything that day so wasn't hours later but I have good faith it may have just been bad that week as I went twice that week but haven't returned since as I'm worried of getting sick.
