I did the whale watching cruise on Sep 28, 2020. Booking was easy to start with you can do it online (recommended for peak season) or buy it on site (if its not peak season), you have to pay an entry fees for the Forillon national park that includes entire day parking. The cruise place has parking, picnic benches along the shoreline with a restroom nearby. Captain and crew were polite and amazing, they helped people who got sea sick. We saw 4 different types of whales (humpback, fin, minke etc.,) The cruise duration is 2.5 hours. Raincoat is recommended as the boat tends to hit the wave and water splashes on you sometimes. Our guide explained all the instructions and whale information in both English and French. You will also see different birds :) 5/5 will recommend the cruise. Take the first boat in the morning, so you can have enough time to trek to end of land view and other trails!!!...
Read moreI want to express my deep frustration with the service I received today at your whale-watching station in Gaspésie. I had a confirmed appointment for 9:45 AM, for which I called the day before to make a reservation and provided all my contact information.
When I arrived, I was simply turned away because there weren’t “enough people,” meaning it wasn’t profitable enough for the tour to proceed. Not only is this completely unacceptable from a customer service standpoint, but it also shows a total lack of respect. I was never contacted — no phone call, no email, no effort whatsoever to inform me that the tour was canceled.
As a result, I drove an hour and a half for absolutely nothing, and planned my entire day around this activity. I absolutely do not recommend this company — such careless service clearly shows that customer respect is...
Read moreThis was the most AMAZING experience of my life. We brought our three kids for whale watching at Forillon and didn’t know what to expect. Booking was simple. They all welcomed us warmly with our raincoats and big smiles and our tour guide Sébastien was the best! He was knowledgeable, super friendly and extremely passionate. He recognized that we were anglophone so he translated the tour perfectly so we felt engaged and we learned a lot.
We saw seals, dolphins and several humpback whales for over an hour! The boat ride was very fun too! Lots of big waves! The captain was a true professional and the crew was hospitable and very friendly.
We could feel that the entire crew was dedicated to giving us the best experience! And it really was!
Highly, highly...
