🇨🇦Gaspé Ultimate Guide ⎮ To the End of the Land

Summer calls for a trip to the sea. We spent 5 days and 4 nights driving over 2,000 kilometers, starting from Montreal and passing through Rimouski, Gaspé, Matane, and Quebec City. 🏛️🏛️ Highway 132 runs alongside mountains and water, with stunning scenery—if you come to Canada, this is a must!🚞 This is the most detailed guide online, so save it now!👍 June 4 🌅 Departed from Montreal. Arrived at the car rental agency at 9 AM, picked up the car by 9:30, then stopped at T&T Supermarket at 10 AM to buy fruits, bread, water, and snacks for the road. We hit the road properly at 10:30.😣😣 We reached Quebec City at noon and had lunch at the famous La Buche—total letdown.🌴 In Rimouski, we had a delicious lobster dinner at Union Pacifique . 🍔 You could tell the lobster was fresh and lively before cooking—easily the best lobster of the trip 🦞. Stayed at Loft Orizons that night.🍟 June 5 🌄 Continued our journey around 8 AM. Had a lobster roll for lunch at Bistro du Capitaine, but it was cold—hard to stomach for Chinese taste buds.🎊 😍😍Visited the stone statues, which are slowly being submerged by water. For dinner, we tried Brise Bise’s seafood pasta with a creamy sauce—it was good . 😻 Gaspé felt like a "big city" with English menus; other restaurants only had French. Stayed at Hotel Baker.💞💞 June 6 🌠 Mountain hikes! Boat trips! Whale watching! (Squealing like a cat 😽) Today’s highlight: Forillon National Park!!!🌳🌳 📍 Forillon National Park No entrance fee before 9 AM—early birds save $9! Arrived at the whale-watching meeting point, got waterproof suits, and set sail like a little "firefighting crew" under the captain’s lead. 🎉🎉 🌤️🌤️We saw whales 🐋! So happy—even though the boat rocked so much I almost fell asleep, spotting them made it all worth it 🥺😸😸 After whale watching, we hiked for 3 hours to where the St. Lawrence River meets the Atlantic. 🍏 Land ends, sky merges with sea—human insignificance made worries and work fade away.🍔 Dinner was seafood pasta at Tetu, right below our hotel . Their cocktails were great. Stayed at Hotel Baker again.🏔️ In short, don’t miss Forillon National Park if you want to see whales—highly recommend! Book tickets on their website the night before. It cost ~$100 with tax. June 7 🎇 Had breakfast at Oh Les Pains bakery in Gaspé town. Drove to Percé to see Percé Rock and take a boat to Bird Island. Ferries to the island run at fixed times daily. Our timeline: arrived around 10 AM, took the 11:30 ferry, and returned by 4 PM (the last ferry back).🌞🌞 The ferry circles the island before docking. It was windy and chilly.🎊🎊 👉👈The shortest hike on the island takes 45 minutes one-way, so round-trip needs at least 1.5 hours. With the ferry tour, the 11:30 to 4 PM slot was tight—any later and we’d have missed the full hike.😶😶 The island is home to over 6,000 Northern Gannets—their flocks darken the sky, 🍉🍉truly(stunning). Note: Accommodation in Percé is pricey (~$400/night). Stay at an Airbnb in Matane instead—cheaper and more spacious.🌴🌴🌴 #gaspe
