Went in the middle of June. The boat launch sight is initially a bit steep but still more than easy to get in and out. The flow was very easy to casually paddle against. Lots of beautiful birds songs to keep you company along the way. Parking space is small but got lucky to have the whole space by myself

Slow moving river great for stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, and kayaking. From the first access point it was bit shallow in July 2021 to start, so be ready to maneuver around fallen trees and stumps. Access point 1 to 2 took us a relaxed 3 hours to paddle on SUPs.

As good as the saugeen river to kayak. We had a great time. Access point 1 to 2 took about 4 hours and we had to put some real paddling in. Not a great river to just float down as it's very slow moving

great canape, lots and lots of wildlife and wildflowers. Warm, slow moving river. Be ready to dodge fallen trees in waterway. Be careful if you need to get out of your boat to Portage it around any trees, lots of stinging nettle on water's edge. Not...
