Generally, I try to not b post reviews, but this experience sucked.
I had previously been to this Funzilla before for a birthday party that ended by 8pm at least, so as I was driving my three-year-old home from something tonight, we pass Funzilla, see that the lights are on, the "open" sign is on, and kids are playing. He's still full of beans, so I decide to be spontaneous fun-dad and bring him in for 30mins or so. It's about 7:05pm on the dot, and while sure, it's my fault for not looking at the hours of operation by the door, the open sign is on and the doors are open.
We walk right up to the desk, he's beside himself with excitement as he sees all the other kids playing, and then the employee at the desk tells us they're closed for drop-ins and we have to go.
He, of course, doesn't understand, and I have to carry him out as he gets increasingly distraught and starts bawling as I clip him back into the car seat and for the next 40 minutes.
I get the need to close up prior to officially closing for the night, but at least then turn off the open sign, or lock the door or something. This really could have been dealt with a lot better (I.e. just charge us the hour fee and let the kid play for 30 mins with the other kids, instead of turning him away and breaking his heart).
I'll now be giving the Walmart at Centennial 5 stars for doing nothing except being open and having a toy aisle where we found a dinosaur that cheered him...
Read moreMy son was recently invited to a birthday party at Funzilla Hamilton., and I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this facility is designed with kids' joy and safety in mind.
The play areas were incredibly clean and well-maintained, with a variety of engaging activities that kept all the children entertained for hours. My son especially loved the slides and indoor playground, which were both thrilling and age-appropriate . The kids area was also well-designed, ensuring younger kids could play safely without being overwhelmed by older children .
What truly stood out was the exceptional staff. They were not only welcoming and attentive but also went above and beyond to ensure every child felt included and happy. I noticed them assisting with games, managing the flow of activities.
Safety was clearly a priority. The facility was clean, sanitized, and well-supervised, giving me peace of mind while the kids played freely. The accessibility features, including wheelchair-friendly entrances and restrooms, also made it inclusive for all guests .
Although the party wasn’t for my son, he had such an incredible time that we’re already planning to host his next birthday here.
Funzilla Hamilton is a perfect venue for family outings, celebrations, and making lasting memories. Highly...
Read moreIf I could give this place a O I would. The staff at the front desk seemed polite, but they were just pushing people in the doors. There was no maximum capacity from what I could see considering there were 200+ kids on the playground at one time. There were 3 birthday party’s I beleive , plus drop in kids as well. The rules that are stated in posters along the facility walls were not enforced at all. Kids were getting hurt and crying everywhere. My son who is 3, was practically trampled on by older children and was pushed and dismissed while trying to play. & I have read the reviews similar to mine. Before the staff here reply, and say they offered another play center for kids 3 and under on weekends, that’s a lie. No one told me about imaginasium, which one of the team members on another review ensured that they do when the facility is crowded. All of the negative reviews about this facility seem completely accurate and if you continue to read the staffs remarks and responses to the reviews that are accurate, are snarky and rude. I do not recommend this place. If you care about your kids safety and well being. This is not the...
