I have a grevience with my purchase from EHF. The Threading on the upholstery is already loose. The cushions are extremely saggy after one sit. The upholstery is sagging. The couches apppear used and weathered. The same applies to the pillows: the threading is already loose and are clearly weathered due to previous wear and tear. This product was given to us used and weathered. We are extremely disappointed with this product. We are looking for a constructive resolution. We have made multiple attempts to bring this up to customer service via phone but no one returns our calls or messages. And everyone is dodging us when we try to have a conversation at their showroom. No one responded to our request to have this product investigated. Its very disappointing how we have been treated. Instead of being satisfied with a purchase, we feel swindled. When we attempted to constructively talk to management regarding this issue, we were presented with a representative who never introduced himself and spoke to us in an unprofessional and combative manner. He never allowed us to actually have a constructive conversation for a resolution by continuously interrupting us, refusing to look at pictures, antagnozing us by being rude and refusing to take ownership of the situation. Sherri also failed to take ownership and assist properly with my grievances. We attempted to bring this issue up to customer service's attention multiple times and it was brushed off. We were told that someone will contact us to come look at the product and no one did. We have been honest and patient, and we shouldn't be ignored and treated with disrespect for bringing a legitimate complaint about a product...
Read moreI purchased a custom bedroom set on June 15th, and Lori informed us that it would take up to one month for delivery, so we decided to go ahead with the order. Just before signing the contract, the manager told Lori to add August to the ETA as a precaution, although they assured us the delivery would be in July since timing was critical for us.
We moved into our new house on July 14th, expecting to receive our bedroom set in July. I left my old furniture behind, anticipating the new set's arrival. However, when I called on July 15th to check on the delivery, Lori informed me that we would need to wait at least another month because the manufacturer was making the bedroom set from scratch and they had no updates on the delivery time. They couldn't even follow up with the manufacturer!!!
Lori told me to wait, but couldn't provide a specific timeframe. How is it that they can promise a delivery timeline to make a sale but become unresponsive once the purchase is made? They initially promised a one-month delivery, but now we are left without a bed, dresser, and nightstand for 18 days after our move. This has forced us to keep our clothes and belongings in bags and boxes, causing significant inconvenience.

She listened to all the details we were looking for. I took a few photos of what I was interested in and left. It was going to need more thought as it was a big purchase. About a month later we went back. Lori was there, and remembered us and exactly what we were there for previously. I was still interested in the same set, and we moved different chairs with the table, and came up with exactly what we wanted. We ordered our set that day with confidence, it was the perfect choice. Handmade manufacturing and exceptional quality takes time, which we were very impressed by. The set would take about 6 weeks and we were willing to wait. The delivery team was very careful and took their time bringing in each piece and assembling the table. Perfect table for the spot we wanted. It is now the focal point upon entry of the house and we couldn't be happier. A few weeks after the delivery Lori called me to see how everything went with delivery and asked how we were enjoying our purchase. I thought that was great that she did that. We will definitely go to Essex Home Furnishings and deal with Lori if we are looking for furniture...
