My son and I have played here twice. Both times we were well greeted by the starter. Prior to starting, we were told that the carts had to be returned by 7 PM due to the sun going down when we reached the 7th hole, a Marshall greeted us and asked us if we wish to have a tip. He very nicely explained that if we took the eighth and ninth classic holes that we would make it back in time for 7 PM as it was 630 at that time when we got to the eighth hole there were four couples already on the course and two waiting to play. We decided to go play the other eight and nine, and then we would return the cart we teed off on the eighth the marshal met us and started strong, arming us using foul language in front of my 15-year-old son, when I explain to him that I was waiting for the other people to hit their ball so that I could go pick up my ball and then drive the cart back he became belligerent again and I explain to him that he was nice on the front nine why could he not be a nice person for the eighth and ninth hole as we were complying with what he had asked except we were going to make it in better time due to us not having to wait on the eighth hole for six teams to finish he looked at me as if I was a child and holding his hand over his face making gestures. This is the second time this has happened to my son and I I strongly recommend that you fire this marshal as he has no right to use such language or strong arm players.

I will no longer be playing this course, which is too bad, because we enjoy the lay of the land as well as the many scenic views, but I will not be strong armed by an individual or listen to them act in such an inappropriate...

Will not come again! The course was not well maintained but for the price and given the recent drought you can be forgiving.

We had a 10:30 and 10:39 tee time for our group of 5. We arrived 5 minutes early but the starter had sent out a group of 2 that were also at our tee times out ahead of us. He then let us go for a group of 5 to play best ball to keep things moving. We then had a Marshall come up and tell us that we couldn’t play best ball with 5 because it was against their policy. We explained that we were trying to maintain pace of play and that we were trying to make sure no one was waiting behind us. We were in fact waiting for the group of 2 ahead of us as they were waiting for a group before them. But again he explained it was against their policy. So we split our group up into 2 and 3. Our group of 3 was a stroke behind us on the next tee (they went when it was clear again to keep up the pace of play) and another golfer came up and yelled at us for playing as a group of 5. We were not but he wouldn’t take the time to let us explain just continued to yell. So then we slowed right now to keep everything separated. And we’re waiting and waiting. The group of 2 in front of us actually ended up leaving early.

In summary they WAY overcrowd tee times. Are not user friendly. No concept of customer service. It seems they just push golfers through with no thought on customer experience. I would rather pay more for a nice more...

Unfortunate experience here. To start with the good they have a great price for a 9 hole which is a great affordable option in the area. For the price the course was decent, the tees and greens have definitely seen better days and seem a tad neglected, but for the price it’s hard to complain. My only issue was the course marshal. When we showed up for our tee time, there was 3 groups infront of us. There was a group on the green that spent 15 minutes just putting, whatever that’s fine. When it’s finally our turn to play after waiting 20 minutes we tee off, making our way down the course as we’re re-teaching our friend how to golf. The marshal then comes down and tell us that we can’t be holding up the course like this as he has 2 groups waiting, he tells us to grab our stuff and go to the next hole. We hadn’t even been 10 minutes and he rushed us off, when we arrive at the next green we’re waiting for the same group just chipping their way down the fairway. We were always waiting for a hole and the marshal didn’t seem to take any care or notice of it. They need to space out tee times as the course is wayyyyy to over crowded and the marshal needs to pay attention to his own course. Really unfortunate as the course was enjoyable but an ignorant marshal not even letting us play a hole...

My kids say 5 stars. We spent 3 hours here playing on their pitch and putt, and my son said it felt like 2 minutes. Great way to get your daily vitamin D intake as well. If you don't own clubs, they will provide it for you and have ones for the kids. The short yardage and 9 holes were perfect for my 8 and 11 year old boy and girl. Also, they offer summer camp options for kids. At 14 years old, you can go with a friend or on your own to play. Great idea for a date also! If I went to Conestoga College nearby, this would be a regular hangout for me. I like how the golf cart personnel check in on you and provide you with tees or anything you need. Great customer service! Make sure to wear your sunscreen.

I would give it a 3.5. We played the Classic 9 hole course. What I enjoyed were the holes along the grand river. Especially the 4th hole par 3 with the river on the right side of the green. How to improve this course...firstly and most easily clean up and maintain the bunkers. Maybe due to covid the course is not touching them. Secondly, it would be fantastic if the city could clear many of the trees and bushes blocking the view of the river. That would be incredible!! I did not enjoy the holes along the 401. Very loud with the traffic continuously driving by.

Was having a great twilight round. Course condition was fantastic except for a few tee boxes here and there which is no issue at all. Would be a five stars from me but on the 18th hole, 180 yards from the pin, the marshal made us pick up our balls with more than enough light left to finish the hole (see picture). I understand the groups behind us being marshalled off but we should’ve been allowed to finish the last hole…it’s not like we were just about to tee off…literally in the middle of the fairway. Ticked me and the rest of the group off quite a bit.
