Recently returned from a 5 night stay here with my family including 2 young kids. The reason I booked here was because it looked like a beautiful lakefront resort with a pool where we could park ourselves and enjoy the water for the week. ||||Pros:||-beautiful property and views of lake||-comfortable and clean and modern condo that was well equipped.||||Cons:||-we arrived and went straight to the pool. It was 4:50 pm and the lifeguard told me "we are closing in 5 minutes and the pool will be closed for the next 2 days." There was no signage to support these hours and I specifically had called the hotel prior to booking and this was not disclosed to me.||-We waited 2 full days and then fingers crossed were hoping to access pool, had to ask around and call front desk no one knew for sure if it was opening, then I was told pool is only open 11-5. Go to pool at 11 and are the first to enter. Within 40 minutes lifeguard approaches me to say " there is only 10 people allowed in the pool at one time so since you have been here for 40 minutes now you need to get out to allow others in". Again - I contacted hotel prior to booking as I didn't want to spend the money on this place is there were going to be limits on using the pool. They assured me there were no limits and then now only 10 people at a time? ||-There is no BEACH. So if you have young kids, to access the water you need to go to the dock which is quite small and jump in from there. The beach chairs are set up around the lake but in the grass with no lake access from there. This is not totally clear when looking at the website.||-Access to boats is only open 10-6. Sign says 10-7 but if you arrive at 6 they won't let you take one out then, ||-There is a big bottleneck at boat rental place. There is one staff working there and he needs to personally let one person or family in at a time find them a boat and lifejacket and then let them in. When there are many people wanting to boat at one time it can be very slow. Sometimes the nicest part of the day on the lake is 8 pm but you have no ability to boat at that time. This was very disappointing for us.||-Kids club ( or games room ) is only a ping pong table and fooseball table. That's it.||-Horrible beds||||Overall this was a very expensive and disappointing trip. In the 5 nights we were there we got to use the pool twice for 30-40 min at a time. We left everyday to go to the park National Mont Tremblant where we could use the beach there ($18 a day for 2 adults to access). I felt like there were so many rules at this resort with little ability to just enjoy the amenities. Clearly they are lacking staff here. I would seriously consider cancelling your trip if you are heading there with young kids this summer.....you will be disappointed. This place would only suit an adult who is looking for a nice condo with a good view...
Read moreFabulous view from last floor room in the central building. Chedia offered us a beautiful unit for our second 3 night stay at the end of May, during those now famous 3 summer days ! The one-bedroom unit was immaculate , kitchen well-appointed, huge comfy bed and view on the lake even from the shower! Towels and bed linen, very good.
We prefer the middle building to the first building where we stayed in December. Thanks Chedia. Caroline and Mylène on the premises are very helpful as well and Mylène made the call for us , so it was we could stay a third night at the last minute without changing rooms..
We love the Point, so quiet in the evening. . The grounds of Suites-sur le Lac are beautifully maintained. There is a tennis court and an outside pool on this big shoreline complex previously owned by a Fraternity... Unfortunately, the kayaks were not out yet at the end of May, despite hot weather, so we must return , I guess :)!
It was very gracious of staff to provide passes for stunning Mont Tremblant Park, minutes away.,
It’s not necessary to bring up much stuff., because the fine grocery store, l ‘ Étalage, is well stocked with Quebec and international supplies. Haven’t tried the restaurant yet however It wasn’t open during our first stay in Dec 2021 and we enjoyed dinner and sunset on our lovely, airy...
Read moreJust giving one star since I couldn't find zero or lower. The apartment we had was right in front of a water treatment unit that was making a horrible noise 24h. In addition, you can smell the gas burning as soon as you open the window or stay in the balcony. It was a very toxic smell and you cannot enjoy the balcony or sleep calmly at night because of the noise. We contacted them to change and they said that they are fully booked. I still don't understand how they can offer such a catastrophic apartment. It should be reported to Health Canada. We also had a power outage one hour after we arrived. We didn't manage to contact the administration and no one was available for help. We had to spend the whole night in the dark and didn't even get some candles. We had to leave tomorrow morning since we still didn't have electricity and were obliged to throw away our food because the fridge was not working. Despite all this miserable experience, the administration refused to refund us for the catastrophic night and simply said that we could have left home when the power outage happened. The apartment was not also very clean as you can easily feel some sticky surfaces on the floor and see some dust. Sofa is very old and not comfortable. The only positive aspect...
