The new arcade triggered multiole medical emergencies. Seizures and idiopathic anaphalaxis. (Nothing was consumed to have caused that anaphalaxis and ER doctors decided it was likely a histamine reaction to over stimulation) im going to start with saying dyring my visit i was made to feel like i was burdening the staff by asking about the changes, every time i said excuse me they scoffed. It got to the point I actually asked one of the staff members which prize was her favourite and gave her my plush just because i felt they were so burdened by us being there to play. Accoding to my friend they were neutral with neither good nor bad but idk my friend noticed they spoke different to me and hypothesized it was because im physically disabled. I feel stupid now for giving up a prize because i felt otherwise i would be kicked out for just being me because being kicked out would have probably been better than staying and dont get me wrong, Up until our visit today I would have given this arcade all the stars. It was one of my favourite places to go. The man who used to work there, maybe still does just wasnt there today, was always so sweet and helpful. Prior to covid my roommates and I would go sometimes multiple times a week, I got my switch there from saving enough points, we did switch to once every few months during the pandemic....but the new changes to the arcade (the high stimulation claw machines that flash severely at you every time someone wins) put me into a medical crisis today. As soon as we walked it I noticed things were different took note and asked a few questions because this environment was significantly more stimulating than before witb the noices and lights... and before was a fairly popular arcade... I decided I would empty out my card and if call it a day. We tried to empty my card as fast as possible we had 3 people playing the games to make it go faster. As soon as we left the environment the sudden rapid change in stimulation caused me to go into Aura in the elevator and full seizure just outside the elevator. There is a purple scuff mark on the floor now where I broke my custom leg braces. It has been about 2 hours since we left and I have had 3 more seizures during one i slipped into anaphalaxis despite not consuming anything, the er doctors hypothesis was it was triggered by overstimulation. I am writing this now in a partially paralyzed state. Please, at the very least add a large clear sign to let people know this establishment is not safe for anyone at risk of seizures.
