I don't have words to express how spectacular the views are from there. Once up there you will feel as if we are in cloud 9. And if you can manage to go there at night, that's another level. Also if you are interested in hiking you can do an hours hike to the top of the Whistler Mountain. That's even more spectacular. The birds eye view of Jasper is breathtaking. But, alas, this place in all its wisdom shut the restaurant down at 4:30, just when I arrived to get my beer. Now I have to wait an hour for ride down with no beverage in hand ๐and the place is super crowded because it's raining outside. It would be less crowded if some of us could get upstairs for a beer....

It was the start of peak season, so the tram was full, but the views from the "base camp" to the hike up Whistler are wonderful. A "must do" while in Jasper if you aren't doing the full hike from the base of the mountain. There was a bear nearby when we got up there.
