Well, I think they take spare every expense as a life motto here. Between the "finely aged" pineapple slice on my carrot cake(which was tasty despite the fruit anomaly) and the very sad grilled cheese I got. I'd rate the chef at this place as miserable and the waiter staff as amazing.

Dear chef, with love I ask you to please reflect on the delivery of a deliciously prepared grilled cheeze. You have the ingredients right but you miss on the following:

Use plenty of butter on the outside of the bread so it actually gets crispy and brown.

Take your time. The sandwich I got was barely melted. A good grilled cheese should have a wonderful melt and pull apart with cheezy stringyness. Especially since you used Mozzarella in it. The bread should be nicely browned and crispy on both sides. If you're in a rush, put both sides down, one slice of cheeze each side. Let it cook. Then merge. Sit a bit. Then flip and sit some more. Then serve that beautiful baby.

Use cheeze thicker than 1mm. Like... it literally costs $2-3 max to make an astonishingly great grilled cheeze thick with the nice stringy pull and mmm goodness.

Please try harder 🙏 think of the children who order this delicious option. Served at a fine restaurant ontop of a...

If there was a 1/2 star, I'd give 4.5 stars because the coffee was disappointing. I'd suggest picking up a Starbucks coffee at the bottom of the tram and taking it up with you. Ideally, plan your Jasper Sky tram trip for when you'll have time to hike up Whistler’s Mountain. For many people, that’s the only time they’ll get to the alpine level of the mountains & get to see the unique vegetation. Then, after your hike, chow down guilt free at The Summit Café. Today I enjoyed an elk sandwich while my lunch mates had the fish tacos, one of them with soup & the other with salad. We were all very pleased with our selection. How often does that happen?! They have a kids menu if you have little ones with little, limited appetites. The view is normally spectacular from the café but today being a cloudy day, we could barely catch a glimpse of the trams as they came in for a landing just outside the window of some tables (choose to sit at those if...

I am giving one star based on my yesterday’s experience. We ordered food there about 4pm. We order food and drinks. Although, we got drinks right away, but our food took forever. We went to desk and said how long it will take. They said its almost ready. Next thing we saw our food was delivered to wrong table and some have bite from those plates and then she approached them and said sorry its not your food and did you guys ate this and they said no. She took that food back just as we can see they just throwed that bunn and replaced with new one in the same plate. Is that acceptable in the restaurant which have 4.2 rating. I get it people make mistakes, but instead of making them correct. You guys didn’t suppose to cut corners. Not recommended to anyone. I can suppose they are doing that from long ago. Not going ever again. As we confront them they said they made mistake and cooking us new food which was a lie. Guys stop...

It was cloudy and snowing the day we visited so the views were not great. The service was very friendly.
