Just a total Gem that that managed to mesh well with with the urban environment. Peaceful and not crowded(yet) Maybe try not to go there too much to keep traffic down and make it more enjoyable. There's so many spectacular spots within 1/2 hour drive it ridiculous.

Quite parking lot in a residential area. You can go down to the rocks, where a few people where fishing. There is one wooden bench to sit and enjoy the view. According to several Instagram accounts, you can sometimes spot whales from this spot.

Not really a park, more of a lookout. Most people won't be able to fully experience more than a glance over the railing as it's an extremely steep, dangerous walk down a cliffside on a crude path.

Amazing fishing spot, all year round really if you know what you’re doing and what you’re fishing for as there is a number of different species to fish for, it’s a sketchy walk down to the water but once you’re at the water line you should be fine to walk about, but still be careful slipping and falling on barnacles ain’t fun it’s extremely painful and cause immediate infections….you’ve been warned! Use at own risk! Great place to snorkel and freedive also speargun fishing as well…make sure you have a wetsuit on and buddy system as well solo freediving can be dangerous even if you’re experienced, not worth risking your life going alone into the water. Like I said have a wetsuit on as it can be chilly even in the middle of summer first 5ft are ok below that it’s...

If you fish here, you know the spot. I came for the view. Some ladies told me when I came here that a fisherman had just caught a 8 kilo salmon. The trail down to the waters edge is rocky and rooty with some steepness,so watch your step. Jan29/2021. 4°C Watch your step here. There is a trail,of sorts,it’s steep, it’s rocky. Not very much room to walk around when you reach the cliffs. More crawling with some...

This is a tiny beautiful park on end of Winchelsea Place, Nanaimo BC. It has sea views on cliffy waterline of Sailish sea in Strait of Georgia. There is an access to water by a small path but use extremely caution to reach sea. Get down only if you have strong legs and balancing abilities. There is a beautiful lawn and Gazebo of a private property, they...
