Great "Glamping" experience! Very comfortable, large king sized bed, with fan and heated cabin. Keurig mini machine and mugs too!
Provided Propane BBQ worked very well and had BBQ tools provided.
Medium cooler was clean and ready for ice and use... I brought a bag of ice from. Nearby store on my way there and had cold drinks all night (and the next morning).
At nightfall the owner (or employee) showed up at the communal "fire pit" with a load of wood and lit a roaring fire. There was plenty of wood to keep the fire going for many hours and there was lots of wood left when we retired for the night.
There is a large picnic table near the fire... But otherwise brining a camp charge is recommended. The fire pit is in an open "gravel pit" area which is surely safe but not "cosy".
The double bedroom unit has its own fire pit it seemed so would be a great option for a more private gathering.
My daughter loved the goats and chickens, but remember to bring plenty of loonies for the feed dispensers... A handful of feed is gone LITERALLY in 5 seconds with a 4 year old.
I stayed for 1 night and will return next year...
Read moreWe were very excited to stay here but we were surprised with how little was there. The parking spots around the pods was just a big open gravel pit, very dark and gloomy as night. There was no wi fi while we stayed there. Apparently they had been having issues, which I understand. But it was something I would have liked to know before staying as there is little to no cell service there either The bed was amazing! Super comfy and very big. There was a coffee maker and coffee cups. But there were no spoons, forks or any kind of cutlery. There was a BBQ but no plates and again no cutlery. We ended up going out to the store and buying plates and cutlery. It would have been nice to know they didn't have anything like this before getting there. No shampoo or anything like that in the bathroom. Overall, the room was very clean, smelled great and looked great. Just lacked the basic things you think would be there for an...
Read moreI was surprised by how open everything was. When I parked it felt like I was in a gravel pit. I’m assuming there are more pods in the works. The pod I stayed at was small but very neat and tidy. Super soft king size bed. Decent sized bathroom however I found the mirror was really high and I couldn’t see properly. The shower stall was pretty small. At 5ft Size 14. I wondered how a taller bigger person would handle it. Lovely large fan over the bed that allowed good air flow. The deck looking down at the restaurant The Barn Cafe was a great size with a 2 person camp chair and a bbq all hooked up with a tank of propane. Very quiet which was...
