Level Six — Local services in Ottawa

I currently have the River 2.0 Boot and Kenora jacket. The river boot has excellent traction on wet and slippery surfaces and feels extremely comfortable while wearing inside my touring kayak. Practiced wet exits and re-entry without worrying about them falling off while in the water. The strap over the foot and the bungee around the ankle gently keeps tight to my foot. Absolutely love my bright red Kenora jacket. Very light and comfortable while paddling. The vent holes in the collar allow me to breathe easily during cool morning paddles. The double tunnel waist works perfectly with spray skirts and the sealed neck and wrist cuffs keep water out. The only thing I wish this jacket had (me being petty) is I wish the hood was either removable or be able to tuck away and I would like to have zippered vents in the arm pits. Just bought our 3rd board, a 10 Seven Powershell as we wanted a board to transport on top of the car. Our other two boards are inflatable Ultralights. We love all of these boards. The inflatables are indestructible and are now 3 years old. With them we bought the full carbon paddles and they are works of art, not to mention featherlight and powerful. I have lots of old Level Six gear for my kayaks and all of its held up extremely well. We broke the skeg on the new board dropping it on some rocks and dealing with Level Six was a great experience. I recently purchased the life jacket for dogs. My pup Chunky (85 pounds of love and affection) loves his lifejacket and is learning to love swimming through rapids. I ordered the XXL jacket for his size and amount of fur, but the front neckpiece velcro continues to break and he is left with just the clip piece around his neck, even when he is just swimming in flats. I think if there was perhaps more velcro around the neck just like the stomach, or two clips to hold it, it may be better for the size of my guy. Incredibly happy with my purchase!
