IGA Poulin — Local services in Quebec

Well, after my disaster experience with Voila/IGA I am happy to day my health is improving and I can get out and shop by Taxi door to door. No need for online. Whew!

I made the mistake of trying IGA Poulin which is close to my apartment.

I am just going to say when a woman who cannot retain even basic French, that ignoring her, giving her angry stares, saying NO! a lot, and questioning her Mother's only tongue, is inhuman.

No other word.

Before I begin, I used to work at 2 IGAs in BC. In between my studies.

I got home late do to no help from a young man, about 20, watched me struggle, while he questions me my nervousness made me slower. I point to things or use hand gestures and he pretends he does not understand. I am 65.

I am not deaf. I dont know French.

I finally got home and cried myself to sleep.

I am so sorry this maltreatment is allowed, unnoticed, and supported as normal human behavior.

Well, Monkey see, monkey do. I do NOT blame the employees. I blame the business plan of joining government over reach.

But I must be? I must tell my health history to young men working as baggers or I get no baggage service? Why?

This is new. I cannot be optimistic about corporate services existing.

Small businesses struggle. So I will go where my English does not have to be pardoned at every isle and check out.

Reason I live here is NOYB.

Anyway, far less produce items available....

After today's experience, have promised myself to never step inside this supermarket ever again. I shall starve to death should this be the last place with food available on earth, I will allow myself to become a zombie should this be the last safe spot on earth, I will accept and embrace the devil should this be the only entrance to heaven. I shall resist any forced attempt to put me in, and shall take away my life in deep regret should I fail this objective.

I will never ever step inside this store, ever again. Not now, not ever.

I wish for their fail, their closure, their end, so that a better place can be born at their stand, or into oblivion their ashes should be left.

Great service. Clean store. Good selection of products from differents brand. Prices are quite often below those of the big US chain store with the smiley face.... especialy their special deals section which is at the store entrance.

Simply put, my favourite grocery store !!
