Today is December 1, 2021. Now it’s 15 weeks, 105 days after the accident on August 17. I am an experienced karting driver in TBC. When I wrote this review, my left shoulder and neck still pain, and there were terrible noises inside my shoulders and back. That day, I was T-Boned by a lady when I turned into the corner #6. She just tried to play bumper car and hit me at a speed around 30km/h. My car was forced to turn 90 degrees and move horizontally 2m away suddenly. When the accident happened, those TBC employees did not do anything. They seem unprofessional, they just thought crash into the barrier of tires is the big issue. That night, my back ribs bruised, so I sent an email to Billy, the general manager of TBC, and explained the situation. Next day, I went there and showed him the GoPro video of the crash. Maybe the pain in my body was not fully shows up at the time. Billy thought my injury was a minor injury, then he taught me that I should drive slowly. The people have families and I should not drive so aggressively. But here is the problem. Although I drove faster, I never hit to anyone else. But the injured person was me. I am the only child of my family, and I have just turned 26 this year, and my family is pinning their hopes on me. Don’t I deserve sympathy when I got hit? I also reported the unprofessional behavior from those TBC employees to Billy, and the reply to me was the steering wheel was not in their hands, so they were not control for the accident. In fact, they were just seeing the accident happened, but they did not do anything, even didn’t warning that lady. I feel extremely disappointed. Those employees have problem to allocate different level of racers. I purchased 5 races that day, and they forced me to pause, and waiting for that terrible lady join the game. After the hit, Billy only promised to give me the next free race as compensation, which does not help anything for my pain. Today, 100 days later, the pain and abnormal noise still exist. From those 100 days, I am full of despair in life. Will the terrible noise accompany with me throughout my life? I worry about my future every day. I took as many medical advice as I could, I went to Physiology, Chiropractor, Register Massage..., try to relieve my pain. I use my own experience to tell everyone that driving karting must take cautious. TBC, it is really...
Read moreThey sure have a nice track but uncomfortable karts and very horrible customer service.
First of, as soon as we’re finished the registration one of the guys lead us to a room to watch a video without saying anything. They just turned on the TV thinking we already know what to do (they knew it was our first time.) After we were done, watching the video, they knew we were done but didn’t assist us to the “gear room” or give us the next instructions. It felt like we were stuck just standing around doing nothing, waiting for them to approach us and help us but they never came. The staffs were just in the registry hanging out and talking with other staffs. As soon as we entered the “observation deck” (where the karts and track were) the operator wasn’t even there! 😂 It was only the two of us, there wasn’t any races happening it was dead silent on the track. The operator wasn’t there so we had to wait until he was done talking to his folks, few minutes later he came to assist us. To summarize the customer service segment, it just very bad. It sure is cheaper than Speeders and they have nicer tracks but customer service just gave us a really bad time and experience there.
Second, the karts were trash (in terms of comfort.) It is fast but the position of the steering wheel is so uncomfortable. My whole arm started hurting and imagine doing 2 races in these karts. I’ve driven many karts and TBC karts is the most uncomfortable kart I’ve driven in. It’s hard to explain it here but if you drive the kart yourself you’ll get what I mean. On top of this part, you pay $20 to ride for just 6 minutes, yikes.
It’s funny because I thought TBC would 1up Speeders but turns out that TBC is just bad 😂 The track is nice, they got fuel powered karts which is nicer than Speeders’ electric karts, but it’s just uncomfortable to ride in. On top of that, you ride for just 6 minutes?? Damnn $20 for 6 minutes. I’d rather play in their arcade that doesn’t even work than spending money on arm battering karts for JUST 6 minutes! It’s like “the karts will break your arm but don’t worry! It’s ONLY gonna be 6 minutes!” The bad customer service just gives it a big big turn off too. Go to Speeders if you wanna have a good good time, but if you don’t mind breaking your arms and you don’t like people anyways,...
Read moreMe and my friend went on Saturday which was yesterday , it was my first time and it was super fun . The track was big and the cars do go fast . The only reason I'm giving this review a 2 stars is because the service you get is unbelievable. The guy in the front desk was kind and friendly but when we went there was this guy who was really rude . We said hi to him and he didn't reply . When we both hit the tracks and we needed his help to pull us back so we can go on the track again , he's would always seem annoyed and talked like we did something illegal. He would say :" I told you to not turn so fast here , why did you turn so fast , you need to slow down ." He would also say :" hey there it's a yellow light can you not see that it is clearly yellow so you need to slow down . He would also say :" I tell you when to start you don't just start without my permission " . When we first went in to the go kart , we need to adjust our seats we were struggling to adjust our seats and he literally not even exaggerating just stood there staring at us like we owe him money and didn't even helped us . When we asked for help , he was like :" what do you want ?" . I was like :"Can you please help me adjust my seat. He stood there for a good 20 seconds and then said :" just lift it and then move the pedal ." I didn't know how to do it so then he was like :" like this you see , look how easy " in a very sassy tone . After the 4 rounds he didn't even say goodbye . He waved the flag and told us to stop, and we did . We thought we still had more time so we keep sitting . Then he waved his hand up telling us to get off our seats . And then we get left as he didn't say anything else . we left there angry and we weren't even happy , you would think spending your day at the go karting is fun , you would be happy when you leave but no that...
