Fantastic course at the right time of day (early morning). Challenge yourself with up to 7300 yards (if you are PLUS handicap) or play a comfortable round from any of the various yardage tee boxes. We are usually a “gold” group 6700 ish yards or Blue at 6300

Beautiful course. One of the best if been to in Saskatchewan. Greens and course are challenging and well kept. Not dry not even the fairways. Green and in the rolling landscape of the dunes. Don't have to much cons about this place.

What a hidden gem. Very difficult with lots of blind shots, if you have never played there before. Plus, the grass is nice and lush.

For my first time at the Dunes, the experience could've been improved significantly. I usually start by giving a business 5 stars, and take a star off for each negative event that transpired. I will go into detail below:

1st star lost: When paying for our round in the clubhouse, the attendant assured us that our name would be called when we were allowed to tee off. However, we waited 15 minutes after the last group teed off, only to never hear our names called. This left us confused and uncomfortable in the 35° C sun.

2nd star lost: Despite falling behind the group of 4 in front of us by 15 minutes, we caught up to them by the third hole. We had one cart and two people walking, so we weren't rushing by any means. After we caught up, we waited... and waited... and waited... at each and every hole. Again, the temperature was 35° C outside in the sweltering heat, so it wasn't very fun to sit around and watch people look for their balls 10 ft in front of the tee-off box.

This also means that there was no Marshall on duty at the time to keep the pace of play reasonable. All groups in front of us that we could see were riding carts, so they should've been faster than our group. It ended up taking us 2.5 hours just to play the first nine holes. We paid a lot of money for 18 holes, but ended up quitting after 9 because it was extremely frustrating to wait around in such heat and not have a consistent pace.

3rd star lost: For a course that charges a premium dollar, the greens were in mediocre shape and the fairways were patchy and brown in a lot of places. I expected to have a smooth putting green, but my group found that many of our putts were bouncing on fertilizer clumps and/or aeration holes. Not the worst condition, but certainly not worth the premium price. This was on-par with Wildwood Golf Course in terms of condition.

Overall, I wouldn't make the drive to play there again. The experience was poor, and the course wasn't in good enough condition to warrant such...

I had the absolute worst experience at this golf course. If there was a option I'd give them 0 out of 5 stars. I don't recommend this course to anyone. This was my first and last time I'll ever go there, never again. Price is too high for the quality of the course. But... the worst of the worst is the marshal that was on duty on July- 28 around 2:30 working the first hole. That guy shouldn't have a job as a marshal or any job that requires him to communicate with people. Trying to enjoy a game a golf with my brother and my dad, we're respectful to the course not causing any trouble maybe a couple minutes behind the recommend amount of time it takes to finish a hole and this excuse of a man storms up to us with this short fuse of an attitude just a miserable man, no respect whatsoever from him. And this is our first interaction with him no warnings prior to this and he just blows up on us telling us the be faster but in a really hot attitude. Complete ego/ power trip from this so called man. So we continue to golf and this "marshal" continues to follow us and harass us, insult us and completely waste our time and slow us down more when all he had to do was tell us politely the first time and go about his day and leave us alone, all would of been good but no he followed us and harassed us for a few holes. He ruined our 18 holes of golf on the 1st hole. And then I learn that they booked a single golfer behind us a group of 3 people, well no doubt one golfer is going to catch up to a group of 3, do better. They definitely care more about raking in the money and over booking than making sure their "paying" customers have a good time playing golf. PLEASE, PLEASE DONT EVER GOLF AT DAKOTA DUNES! Save your money and go golf litterly anywhere else...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR DRIVE OUT OR MONEY

I have tried to golf Dakota Dunes 3 time in the last month and a half. 1st Round - We were caught behind a tournament with out warning. this tournament was taking 1hour per two holes. we tried to play through were the marshal came and told us we picked a bad time to golf and said nothing he could do about pace of play. we skipped a hole and quit after nine holes. all we were offered was 40 dollar voucher and this was after complaining.

2nd round - Again booked online only to find out we were placed behind another tournament. long story short, marshals said they cant do anything about pace of play. 4hrs in and had to leave after nine holes. was offered same 40 dollars and half cart that doesnt even cover nine holes

3rd round - most of the round was going well. we got to the 16th hole and the marshall decides to drive in front of the tee box as we are teeing off. He goes to the group behind us and they group behind says we are the hold up. ok no issue there expect not once did the group behind ask to play through and only waited on par 3's. marshall then comes to us and just yells that we need to pick it up. as hes leaving im talking to my playing partner and cursing and the marshall heres this. he comes ripping asking mee what i said as if he wants to fight me. i told him im speaking to my playing partner and not him so he takes off. we now are on the 18th hole and the marshall comes back to sit in the landing zone of our balls and watch us finish out. raised our concerns with manager on site and he wouldnt even look up from his computer.

overall worst course around. will not be back. Do not waste your...
